QQ: Which Deck Will Win the North America WCQ?

QQ stands for Quick Questions! The competition is intense this weekend, and Duelists have been crafting their Decks for weeks, trying to find the best possible strategy to make it to the top. We reached out to some of the Duelists in attendance this weekend and asked them which Deck they think will ultimately win this weekend’s tournament, and this is what they had to say:

“Mitsurugi Ryzeal. It’s definitely the best deck. But I think that it will be someone that’s also using Fiendsmith, because that engine is broken.” – Jesse Swynar

“I think it’s finally time for Maliss to win a big event. Everybody is playing Droll & Lock Bird, and it isn’t very good against Maliss, so I think that gives Maliss an advantage.” – Jared Grant

“Probably Mitsurugi Ryzeal, because the Mitsurugi cards are way too good.” – Albert Hong

“I think Lunalights could win it all. But it depends on if people are playing a way to deal with Lunalight Liger Dancer. I know Maliss can beat it with Maliss <Q> Hearts Crypter, but how are you going to make it when your field keeps on getting destroyed?” – Johnathan Wong

“I still think Mitsurugi Ryzeal is the best deck. I played it because I think it’s the strongest and most consistent, I just got unlucky. But I don’t think anything else is as consistent and strong.” – Sean Huang
