QQ: What Deck Will Win YCS Anaheim?

QQ stands for Quick Questions! YCS Anaheim is an exciting event, partially due to this being the first North American event of the new format, as well as being the first North American event where Duelists can compete with cards from the latest set, Doom of Dimensions! The format has been shaken up, as Duelists are looking to adapt their Decks with the new support they received. We asked Duelists on the floor here at YCS Anaheim what Deck they think will win the event, and here is what they had to say:

“Mitsurugi Yummy is the best Deck. I think that Yummy is the best Deck, but the Mitsurugi cards are so strong that when you add it to the Deck it’s kind of unstoppable, as long as you don’t brick.” – Matt Bustamante

“Something with Dracotail. They were already good last format, so I think that they’ll be even stronger now that Stake Your Soul!, Vanquish Soul Razen, and Obedience Schooled are all Limited to 1. The new cards are really underrated.” – Josh DelMundo

“Probably Mitsurugi. I think Yummy is the best Deck, but everyone is also siding a lot of ards for Yummy, so it might be hard for the Deck to actually win. I think Mitsurugi is really hard to stop if you let them set up, and Ame no Murakumo no Mitsurugi is really good.” – Victor Li

“I hope Tombkeepers wins. I saw that they won last weekend and they’re my favourite Deck. If they win enough dice rolls, then they can win the whole thing.” – Aaron Johnson

“I think Yummy will win. It’s really hard to play around and they can summon so many monsters every single turn.” – Dakota Muirhead

Will it be one of these Decks that wins YCS Anaheim, or will it be a completely unexpected Deck? Be sure to stay tuned to all of this weekend’s coverage to find out!
