Q: Will there be online registration for Public Events for YCS Vancouver 2025?

A: Yes, all registration for Public Events for YCS Vancouver will be online at https://events.thesidedeck.com/

Registration for ongoing Public Events begins at the event’s start time. Registration for all non-ongoing Public Events begins approximately one hour before the event is scheduled to begin.

*In order to participate in DUEL LINKS, Duelists will need to have the latest version of DUEL LINKS which is currently v 9.10.0.

Public Event Points

No Public Event Points are awarded to the following events:

YCS Main Event
YCS Dragon Duel Championship
Dragon Duel Casual Sealed
DUEL LINKS Tournament

MASTER DUEL Tournament Duelists must be present for the start of the first Round of each event for which they register, in order to receive the entry points.  You cannot register in more than one event at a time. If you register for an event while you are still enrolled in a previous event, you will forfeit all Public Event points for all events in which you are simultaneously registered.

Speed Duel Public Events Limited List

This event-only Forbidden & Limited List will be used for all Speed Duel Public Events held at this event.

This Forbidden & Limited List is legal throughout the event and Duelists must comply with the list if they wish to participate in Speed Duel Public Events. 

Copies of the list will be available at the Public Events stage for Duelists to reference. The Speed Duel Limited List works like the Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS Forbidden and Limited List.

Forbidden: None of the following cards can be used.

• My Precious Queen! (Weevil Underwood Skill Card) 

Limited 1: Only 1 of the following cards out of all the cards that are “Limited 1” can be used in your Deck & Side Deck.

• Twisted Personality (Yami Marik Skill Card)
• Fossil Warrior Skull Knight
• Golden Ladybug
• Submarineroid
• Mystical Space Typhoon
• Offerings to the Doomed
• Amazoness Onslaught
• Floodgate Trap Hole
• Nightmare Wheel
• Zoma the Spirit

Limited 2: Only 2 of the following cards out of all the cards that are “Limited 2” can be used in your Deck & Side Deck.

• Battle City Bestie (Téa Gardner Skill Card)
• Cocoon of Ultra Evolution (Weevil Underwood Skill Card) 
• Parasite Paranoid
• Red-Eyes Baby Dragon
• Vortex Trooper
• Allure of Darkness

Limited 3: Only 3 of the following cards out of all the cards that are “Limited 3” can be used in your Deck & Side Deck.

• Amazoness Princess
• Cyber Angel Benten
• D.D. Warrior Lady
• Doomcaliber Knight
• Gearfried the Iron Knight
• Neo-Spacian Grand Mole
• Snipe Hunter

• Book of Moon

• Enemy Controller
• Paleozoic Canadia
• Sakuretsu Armor
• Survival’s End
• Wall of Disruption

For Limited 1, you can only choose 1 of the listed cards to have in your Deck. If you choose 1 you cannot use any of the others.

• Example: If you use Twisted Personality (Yami Marik Skill Card) then you cannot use Floodgate Trap Hole, Nightmare Wheel, Zoma the Spirit, etc. 

For Limited 2, you can choose up to 2 of the listed cards to use in your Deck. Whichever you choose, you will not be able to use any of the others. You can choose to have multiple copies of the same card if you like, but they will count towards the total limited number.  

• Example: If you use 2 copies of Parasite Paranoid, you will not be able to use Cocoon of Ultra Evolution (Weevil Underwood Skill Card).
• Example: If you use 1 copy of Parasite Paranoid and 1 copy of Cocoon of Ultra Evolution (Weevil Underwood Skill Card) you would then not be able to use Allure of Darkness, Foolish Burial, etc. 

For Limited 3, you can choose up to 3 of the listed cards to use in your Deck. Whichever you choose, you will not be able to use any of the others. You can choose to have multiple copies of the same card if you like, but they will count towards the total limited number 

• Example: If you use 3 copies of D.D. Warrior Lady you cannot use any other Limited 3 cards like Book of Moon, Gearfried the Iron Knight, or Cosmic Cyclone.
• Example: You can use 2 copies of D.D. Warrior Lady and another Limited 3 card like Book of Moon but then you could not use Neo-Spacian Grand Mole, Cosmic Cyclone, etc. 
• Example: You can choose to use 1 copy of D.D. Warrior Lady, Book of Moon, and Sakuretsu Armor but then you would not be able to use any of the other Limited 3 cards listed, like Gearfried the Iron Knight, Cosmic Cyclone, Wall of Disruption, etc.
