Duel 1
Sahli won the dice roll and chose to go first! His opening hand contained “A Case for K9”, Droll & Lock Bird, Crystron Sulfefnir, and two copies of Crystron Inclusion. He started by activating “A Case for K9”, searching for K9-66a Jokul. He then activated Crystron Inclusion, searching for Crystron Sulfador. Next, he activated Jokul’s effect, Special Summoning Jokul and Sulfador and sending Crystron Tristaros and Crystron Smiger from his Deck to the Graveyard. He activated Jokul’s other effect, searching for K9-66b Lantern, then banished Smiger from his Graveyard to search for Crystron Cluster. Sahli then used Sulfador and Jokul to Xyz Summon K9-17 “Ripper”, and activated its effect to search for K9-17 Izuna! He Normal Summoned Izuna and sent K9-ØØ Lupis to the Graveyard, then used K9-66b Lantern’s effect to Special Summon it from hand and Lupis from the Graveyard.
Next, Sahli used Lantern and Lupis to Xyz Summon Imperial Princess Quinquery, activating its effect to Special Summon Crystron Sulfefnir and discard Crystron Inclusion. He then used Izuna, Sulfefnir, and Lupis to Xyz Summon Number 67: Pair-a-Dice Smasher! Sahli activated Smasher’s effect, and De Micco rolled a higher number, and so he wouldn’t be able to activate monster effects or attack until the end of his next turn. To follow up, Sahli banished Inclusion to Special Summon back Tristaros, then Special Summoned Sulfador by destroying Inclusion. He used Tristaros and Sulfador to Synchro Summon Crystron Eleskeletus and added Crystron Inclusion back to hand, then banished Tristaros from the Graveyard to destroy Crystron Eleskeletus and Special Summon Crystron Sulfefnir and Crystron Sulfador from the Deck. He Special Summoned back Tristaros, then used Sulfefnir and Sulfador to Xyz Summon Cyber Dragon Nova, then made Cyber Dragon Infinity and ended his turn.
De Micco looked down at his hand, and decided he could not break through Sahli’s board since he could not activate monster effects, and conceded the first Duel.
Duel 2
Sahli’s opening hand contained Clockwork Night, K9-66a Jokul, Nibiru, the Primal Being, Crystron Inclusion, and Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring.
De Micco chose to go first in the second Duel! He started by Normal Summoning Cupsy☆Yummy, but when he activated its effect, Sahli responded with Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring! De Micco used Cupsy to Link Summon Yummy☆Snatchy and place Yummyusment☆Mignon on the field. He activated MIgnon’s effect, Special Summoning Cupsy from the Graveyard, then used Cupsy and Snatchy to Synchro Summon Cupsy☆Yummy Way and search for Cooky☆Yummy and Cupsy☆Yummy, then discard Yummyusment☆Acroquey. Next, he Special Summoned Lollipo☆Yummy, returning Sahli’s Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring to the Deck. He used Lollipo☆Yummy Way and Lollipo to Synchro Summon Martial Metal Marcher, then activated Marcher’s effect to Special Summon Cupsy☆Yummy Way from the Graveyard. Here, Sahli was afraid of De Micco making Herald of the Arc Light, and activated the effect of Nibiru, the Primal Being. De Micco Chained the effect of Cupsy☆Yummy Way, even though its effect was negated, returning it to the Extra Deck, while all the other monsters on the field were Tributed.
De Micco activated Triple Tactics Thrust, searching for Triple Tactics Talent. He activated Talent, looking at Sahli’s hand of Crystron Inclusion, Clockwork Night, and K9-66a Jokul, and chose to return Crystron Inclusion to the Deck. De Micco then used the Primal Being Token to Link Summon Link Spider, then Special Summoned Cooky☆Yummy from hand. He used the two to Synchro Summon Cupsy☆Yummy Way, then ended his turn.
Sahli drew Forbidden Droplet for turn! He Normal Summoned K9-66a Jokul, and activated its effect to search for K9-66b Lantern. He then activated Clockwork Night, turning all monsters on the field into Machines! Sahli entered the Battle Phase and attacked Cupsy☆Yummy Way with Jokul and attacked directly with Nibiru. He went to Main Phase 2, then used Nibiru and Jokul to Link Summon S:P Little Knight. He used Lantern’s effect to Special Summon it from hand and Jokul from the Graveyard, then used its other effect to search for “A Case for K9”. He then used Lantern and Jokul to Xyz Summon Vallon, the Super Psy Skyblaster. He activated “A Case for K9”, searching for another copy of K9-66a Jokul, Set a card to his backrow, and ended his turn.
De Micco began his turn by activating Harpie’s Feather Duster, destroying “A Case for K9”, Clockwork Night, and Forbidden Droplet. He then Normal Summoned Cupsy☆Yummy, searching for Yummy☆Surprise, as Sahli Chained the effect of S:P Little Knight to banish both S:P and Cupsy. De Micco then used the effect of Yummyusment☆Acroquey in the Graveyard, returning it, Cupsy☆Yummy Way, and Lollipo☆Yummy Way to the Deck.
He activated Yummy☆Surprise, Special Summoning Yummy☆Snatchy from the Graveyard, then activated the effect of Yummyusment☆Mignon to Special Summon back Lollipo from the Graveyard. Yacine realized he wouldn’t be able to stop De Micco’s Yummy monsters from flooding the field, and conceded. We’re on to the all-important game three!
Duel 3

He Special Summoned back Lupis, then used Lupis and Izuna to Xyz Summon K9-17 “Ripper”! He activated Ripper’s effect, but De Micco responded with Infinite Impermanence, negating its effect. Sahli followed up with “A Case for K9”, searching for K9-66b Lantern, then Special Summoned both Lantern and Lupis and searched for another “A Case for K9”. He used Lupis and Lantern to Xyz Summon Infinitrack River Stormer and search for Scrap Recycler, then Normal Summoned Recycler and sent Crystron Smiger to the Graveyard. He used Recycler to Link Summon Clockwork Knight, sending “A Case for K9” to the Graveyard to search for Clockwork Night, then activated Knight’s effect to send “A Case for K9” to the Graveyard and Special Summon back Scrap Recycler. He activated Recycler’s effect, sending Sulfefnir to the Graveyard. After a flurry of Special Summons, Sahli Link Summoned S:P Little Knight, Synchro Summoned F.A. Dawn Dragster, and Xyz Summoned Cyber Dragon Infinity! Finally, he activated Clockwork Night, Set two cards to his backrow, and ended his turn.
De Micco began his turn by activating Sky Striker Mobilize – Engage!, adding Sky Striker Mecha – Hornet Drones to his hand. On resolution, Sahli activated the effect of Droll & Lock Bird! Unable to play through all of Sahli’s interactions, De Micco conceded.
