We’re in Round 6 of the 2025 North America Remote Duel YCS! Ashik Nabit from Atlanta, Georgia and Franco Persano from Buenos Aires, Argentina both currently have 4-1 records with 3 Swiss Rounds remaining in the day. Nabit is using a Bystial @Ignister Maliss Deck, while Persano is piloting a Dracotail Deck. Both of these strategies have the power to win the Remote Duel YCS this weekend, but only one of these Duelists can prevail in this Feature Match. It’s time to Duel!
Duel One
Nabit started off Duel 1 by Normal Summoning Maliss
Chessy Cat. He activated its effect, but lost out to Persano’s Effect Veiler. Nabit sent his Chessy Cat to the Graveyard to Link Summon Linguriboh and then activated the effect of the Bystial Magnamhut in his hand by targeting the Chessy Cat in his Graveyard. He banished Chessy Cat to Summon Magnamhut, then activated the effects of Magnamhut and Chessy Cat in a Chain. Persano Chained the effect of Dracotail Faimena and fused a Faimena and a Dracotail Pan in his hand to Fusion Summon Mysterion the Dragon Crown. Mysterion was Summoned to the field, and then the effects of Magnamhut and Chessy Cat resolved. In a new Chain, Persano activated the effects of Crown, Pan, and Faimena. He Set Rahu Dracotail from his Deck and destroyed Magnamhut with Pan’s effect, Set Ketu Dracotail with Faimena’s effect, and used Mysterion’s effect to banish all of Nabit’s Cyberse monsters in a complete blowout! Nabit entered his End Phase with a clear field and added Bystial Druiswurm from his Deck to his hand with Magnamhut’s effect.
Persano flipped up Ketu Dracotail and used its effect to add Dracotail Urgula from his Deck to his hand. Next, he flipped Rahu Dracotail, but lost out to Dominus Impulse. Then, Persano Normal Summoned Dracotail Mululu and used its effect to fuse it with the Urgula in his hand. He Fusion Summoned Dracotail Arthalion and activated the effects of Arthalion, Mululu, and Urgula. He added Pan to his hand with Arthalion’s effect and Set Dracotail Flame and Dracotail Horn from his Deck with the effects of Mululu and Urgula. Next, he returned Urgula from his Graveyard to his Deck to add Faimena from his Graveyard to his hand with Urgula’s effect. Arthalion attacked Nabit directly, and then a direct attack from Mysterion dropped Nabit down to 1700 Life Points.
Nabit drew a card and then conceded, completely knocked out of the Duel by Mysterion the Dragon Crown.

Franco Persano wins the first Duel of the Match!
Duel Two
Nabit started off Duel 2 by Normal Summoning Maliss
White Rabbit and used its effect to Set Maliss <C> TB-11 from his Deck to his back row. He sent White Rabbit to the Graveyard to Link Summon Link Disciple and then Persano activated the effect of a Chaos Hunter in his hand to Special Summon it by discarding another Chaos Hunter! Next, Nabit activated the effect of Wizard @Ignister in his hand by targeting White Rabbit in his Graveyard, Special Summoning both monsters to the field. Nabit sent his 3 monsters to the Graveyard to Link Summon Maliss Hearts Crypter. He Set a card to his back row and then ended his turn, set back by the Chaos Hunter that prevented him from banishing any cards.
Persano activated Ketu Dracotail and Nabit activated Dominus Impulse from his hand to negate its effect. Next, Persano used his Chaos Hunter as an Xyz Material to Summon Super Starslayer TY-PHON – Sky Crisis. He activated its effect by detaching an Xyz Material from it, returning Hearts Crypter to the Extra Deck. He attacked directly with TY-PHON to drop Nabit down to 5100 Life Points and then ended his turn. Nabit flipped TB-11 in the End Phase, but Persano negated it with Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring’s effect.

He ended his turn with no further play.
Persano activated another Ketu Dracotail next turn and Nabit Chained his face-down Different Dimension Ground! Persano resolved the effect of Ketu Dracotail by adding Dracotail Lukias from his Deck to his hand. He Normal Summoned it and used its effect to add Dracotail Mululu from his Deck to his hand. He entered his Battle Phase and attacked White Rabbit with Lukias to destroy it. It was banished due to the effect of Different Dimension Ground, and Nabit paid 300 Life Points to Special Summon it back to the field. TY-PHON attacked it and banished it from the Duel, and then Persano used TY-PHON and Lukias as Link Materials to Summon S:P Little Knight. Next, he activated the effect of Faimena in his hand. He discarded it and fused together 2 Dracotail monsters – both of which were banished – to Summon Dracotail Arthalion. He used Arthalion’s effect to return an Ash Blossom and a Chaos Hunter from his Graveyard to his hand.
Nabit activated the effect of March Hare in his hand on the next turn. Persano Chained the effect of Chaos Hunter in his hand to Special Summon it by discarding the Ash Blossom. Next, Nabit activated Triple Tactics Talent! He took control of Chaos Hunter and then entered his Battle Phase. He attacked Little Knight with Chaos Hunter to destroy it in battle and then sent Chaos Hunter and both of his Maliss monsters to the Graveyard to Link Summon Maliss Red Ransom. He used Red Ransom’s effect to add Maliss in Underground from his Deck to his hand and then activated it. He banished Maliss
Dormouse from his Deck and then paid 300 Life Points to Special Summon the Dormouse from banishment. He activated Dormouse’s on-field effect to banish Chessy Cat from his Deck and then paid another 300 Life Points to Special Summon the Chessy Cat. He sent Red Ransom and Dormouse to the Graveyard to Link Summon Cyberse Wicckid, and Persano immediately conceded with just an Arthalion on his field and no cards in his hand.

The Match is going to a third and final Duel!
Duel Three
Persano started off Duel 3 by activating Ketu Dracotail in his Main Phase to add Dracotail Faimena from his Deck to his hand. He activated its effect by discarding it and Nabit Chained the effect of Dimension Shifter! Persano fused Pan and Urgula from his hand to Summon Arthalion and used Arthalion’s effect to return the Faimena in his Graveyard to his hand. He Normal Summoned Koa’ki Meiru Drago next and then revealed Dracotail Mululu from his hand in the End Phase to keep Koa’ki Meiru Drago on his field.
Nabit immediately entered his Battle Phase and then activated Evenly Matched. Persano kept his Drago on the field and banished Arthalion face-down. Unable to overcome the Koa’ki Meiru Drago’s stats or effect, he ended his turn.
Persano attacked directly with Drago and then Set a card to his back row. He revealed Mululu once again in the End Phase to keep his Drago on the field.
Nabit passed his turn again without making any play.
