There are more than 1700 Duelists competing here at YCS Pittsburgh! While many Duelists have competed at YCS events before, not all of them have; for some, this is their very first YCS!

For Benny Mirisola and Drew Faulkner, this is the first time that they have been able to attend a YCS event. Being friends for many years, they made it a goal of theirs to finally be able to attend a YCS event together, and they were finally able to do so at YCS Pittsburgh this weekend!

Both Duelists will be competing in the main event. Mirisola will be piloting his trusted Melodious Deck, hoping that the effect of Aria the Melodious Diva will give his opponents a hard time. Meanwhile, Faulkner will be playing his Blue-Eyes Deck, with Blue-Eyes White Dragon being one of his favourite monsters in the game!

We asked them what really stood out about the YCS event, and Mirisola said: “Just the size of the event. I’ve only seen YCS events on stream before, and I could see the stage and get a look at the venue sometimes, but it’s another thing entirely to be able to see everything in person. It’s so much bigger than I imagined!”
