Dale Bellido entered today’s YCS with an Infernity Deck he built in collaboration with several other Duelists competing here today. His Deck is capable of Summoning as many as 4 Synchro Monsters in a single turn, and using those monsters to quickly wipe out his opponent. Take a look at Bellido’s Decklist.

Bellido’s Deck is pretty typical for what we’ll probably be seeing as the main Infernity Deck framework. He’s using 3 copies each of Infernity Archfiend, Infernity Beetle, Infernity Necromancer, and Infernity Launcher to pull off the primary combo that wins him the Duel. Since most of the Infernity cards only work while Bellido has no hand, he’s only running 14 monsters in his Deck. All of his other cards can be Set to his Spell and Trap Card Zone so that he can empty his hand. Bellido is also running a copy of Starlight Road to protect all of the cards he sets.

Once his hand is depleted, Bellido can use the effect of Infernity Mirage or Infernity Launcher to Special Summon Infernity Necromancer and Infernity Archfiend from his Graveyard. He uses the effect of his Archfiend to search his Deck for an Infernity Launcher to add to his hand, and puts it into his Spell and Trap Card Zone. Then he activates his Necromancer’s effect to Special Summon Infernity Beetle from his Graveyard and Tunes all 3 of his monsters together to Synchro Summon Mist Wurm. Next, he sends his new Infernity Launcher to the Graveyard to Special Summon Infernity Archfiend and Infernity Necromancer to repeat the combo and flood the field with Synchro Monsters. Bellido can keep repeating the combo and Summoning more monsters until he runs out of Infernity Launchers.

To get the combo going, Bellido needs to empty his hand and get Infernity Archfiend, Infernity Necromancer and Infernity Beetle into his Graveyard. To accomplish this, Bellido is running 3 copies of Infernity Inferno and 2 copies of Dark Grepher to get his Infernities from his Deck or hand to his Graveyard. He’s also running a copy of Foolish Burial to get the Infernities he needs into the Graveyard. Bellido uses One for One too, since it lets him Special Summon Infernity Mirage from his Deck and send a monster from his hand to his Graveyard. Once he has the pieces he needs for the combo, he can usually clinch the victory.

Bellido is running several cards to protect his combo once he has the cards to start it. Dust Tornado, Mystical Space Typhoon, Giant Trunade, and Heavy Storm clear the way for him to initiate the combo without worrying about how his opponent can stop it, and his 3 copies of Infernity Barrier and 1 copy of Solemn Judgment are able to shut down any card his opponent may use after he starts the combo. While cards like D.D. Crow and Crevice into the Different Dimension can disrupt Bellido’s attempts to OTK his opponent, Bellido has the tools overcome them.

Bellido’s explosive Deck is a dangerous one to play against. He can dish out over 8000 damage to any one of his opponents in a single turn! With so many skilled Duelists using Infernities in today’s tournament, it’s very likely that a bunch of them will make it to Day 2.
