Now that Duelists have had over a month to test out the new cards in The Shining Darkness, they’re beginning to understand what they should expect from other competitors. All Duelists are choosing their favorite cards to help them gain an edge over everyone else. Take a look at some of the cards Duelists called their “secret tech” choices that they’re using to help them get ahead of the competition.

“Treacherous Trap Hole. It gets rid of 2 monsters for free.” –Kirk Hamilton

“Compulsory Evacuation Device. It stops Infernity Archfiend and Synchros like the Blackwings.” –Josh Almeida

“Deck Devestation Virus in the Side Deck. It destroys Frogs.” –Mike Esquenazi

“Vanity’s Ruler. I can still Special Summon Treeborn Frog and Tribute it for Monarchs while it’s on the field.” –Eric Wynn

“Dark Bribe to stop Cold Wave and Giant Trunade since Starlight Road can’t do it.” –Paul Cooper

“Mind Crush. Blackwings, Infernities, and X-Sabers all search the Deck for cards.” –Philip Kampa

Any one of these cards can make or break a competitor and heavily influence the result of this weekend’s Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series. Soon, we’ll be able to see which of these cards will have the biggest role in determining a champion.
