The Main Event at the World Championship Qualifier – South America has begun. Here’s what the room looked like before the players came in, and after!

We spoke to Esteban Andres Almoida de la Torre, from Ecuador, the Continental Champion from last year. He qualified for this event at a Canadian Regional, and is back again in South America after his travels in Canada now. Now’s he’s aiming to represent South America at the World Championship again, this time with his Quickdraw Dandywarrior Deck. His strategy is “no combos, but easy to recover.” He’s playing against really high-level players though, and he mentioned specifically that when he played against other Duelists from Ecuador yesterday, that they were really strong too!
