Here’s what our expert(s) had to say:

Erik Mishtar (Modern day pharaoh)
When a monster that came from the Extra Deck tries to return to your hand or Deck, it goes back to the Extra Deck instead. This makes cards like Penguin Soldier extra-effective against Synchro Monsters. If you use Super-Nimble Mega Hamster in your Deck, another option to consider would be Hane-Hane. This gives Nordics and some X-Saber Decks the ability to handle Legendary Six Samurai – Shi En with ease without having to burn any Spells or Traps or hope that Musakani Magatama isn’t lurking in the Samurai Duelist’s backrow.
