11-year-old Matthew Wilkinson and 13-year-old Jarrid Centamore both made it to the Finals with their HERO-based Decks, and now they’re facing off against one another in a Match that will determine which one of them wins a trip to Jump Festa in Japan! The stakes are high, but the atmosphere is relaxed, because both of these Duelists are Dueling for the love of the game, and have had a blast throughout the entire tournament!

Wilkinson opened up Duel 1 with E – Emergency Call, Neo-Spacian Grand Mole, Seven Tools of the Bandit, Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo, Thunder King Rai-Oh, and Elemental Hero Neos Alius. He activated his Emergency Call to search his Deck for Elemental Hero Stratos and then Summoned Stratos to the field. He used Stratos’s effect to add a Neos Alius from his Deck to his hand. He Set Seven Tools of the Bandit before ending his turn.

Centamore Special Summoned Cyber Dragon and then attacked Stratos with Cyber Dragon, destroying it in battle. Centamore activated E – Emergency Call in Main Phase 2 to search his Deck for Elemental Hero Stratos, and Summoned it to the field. He used his Stratos’s effect to add Neos Alius from his Deck to his hand. Centamore Set 2 cards to his back row before ending his turn.

Wilkinson drew Dark Hole next turn. He activated it to destroy Stratos and Cyber Dragon, and then Normal Summoned Thunder King Rai-Oh. Centamore flipped Torrential Tribute to try to destroy it, and Centamore flipped Seven Tools of the Bandit to negate the Torrential Tribute by paying 1000 Life Points! Rai-Oh attacked directly and dropped Centamore 6100 Life Points.

Centamore Set a monster and passed.

Wilkinson drew Honest next turn. He Normal Summoned Neo-Spacian Grand Mole and attacked Centamore’s monster with it, returning both monsters to their owners’ hands. Rai-Oh attacked directly, and Wilkinson ended his turn.

Centamore tired to Special Summon Cyber Dragon next turn, but Wilkinson sent Rai-Oh to the Graveyard to negate its Summon. Next, Centamore Normal Summoned Rai-Oh and attacked directly with it, dropping Wilkinson down to 4800 Life Points.

Wilkinson drew Mystical Space Typhoon next turn. He Normal Summoned Elemental Hero Neos Alius and attacked Rai-Oh with it, then discarded Honest from his hand in the Damage Step to boost his monster’s ATK and win the battle. He Set Mystical Space Typhoon in his back row before ending his turn.

Centamore activated Fusion Gate next turn! He activated Reinforcement of the Army to add an Elemental Hero Ocean from his Deck to his hand, then attempted to use Fusion Gate’s effect – but Wilkinson flipped Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Fusion Gate and stop it from fusing Centamore’s monsters! Centamore Set a monster before ending his turn.

Wilkinson drew Cyber Dragon next turn. He Summoned Neo-Spacian Grand Mole and attacked with it to return Centamore’s face-down monster to his hand. Next, he attacked directly with Neos Alius to inflict 1900 points of damage to Centamore’s Life Points!

Centamore Set a card to each zone and passed.

Wilkinson drew another Cyber Dragon next turn! He Summoned Neo-Spacian Grand Mole and then attacked Centamore’s face-down monster with Grand Mole; but Centamore flipped his newly Set Dimensional Prison to remove the Grand Mole from the Duel! Then Alius attacked the face-down monster, revealing it to be Snowman Eater! Snowman Eater destroyed Neos Alius with its effect. Wilkinson Special Summoned Cyber Dragon in Attack Position in Main Phase 2 and then ended his turn.

Centamore Set a monster and passed.

Wilkinson drew another Neos Alius next turn. He Summoned a Neos Alius to the field and then used Cyber Dragon to destroy Centamore’s face-up Snowman Eater and Alius to destroy his face-down Elemental Hero Ocean.

Centamore activated Monster Reborn next turn to Special Summon Cyber Dragon from his Graveyard, then fused it with Wilkinson’s Cyber Dragon to Summon Chimeratech Fortress Dragon with 2000 ATK! Next, he Normal Summoned Elemental Hero Neos Alius. Chimeratech Fortress Dragon attacked and destroyed Wilkinson’s Neos Alius, and then Neos Alius attacked Wilkinson directly, knocking him down to 2800 Life Points.

Wilkinson drew Thunder King Rai-Oh next turn and then Special Summoned Cyber Dragon to the field. He attacked Centamore’s Attack Position Neos Alius with his Cyber Dragon, destroying it in battle and dropping Centamore down to 200 Life Points.

Centamore switched his Chimeratech Fortress Dragon to Defense Position and then Normal Summoned Neos Alius. He attacked Wilkinson’s Thunder King Rai-Oh with his Alius, destroying them both.

Wilkinson drew Miracle Fusion next turn and Summoned Neos Alius to the field. Centamore instantly conceded, with only 200 Life Points remaining!

Centamore began Duel 2 by activating E – Emergency Call and using its effect to add Elemental Hero Stratos from his Deck to his hand. He Normal Summoned Stratos and used its effect to grab Elemental Hero Ocean from his Deck. Centamore Set a card to his back row before ending his turn.

Wilkinson opened up with Miracle Fusion, Royal Oppression, Elemental Hero Neos Alius, Pot of Duality, Solemn Warning, and Super Polymerization. He Normal Summoned Elemental Hero Neos Alius and then attacked Centamore’s Stratos with it, destroying the Stratos in battle. In Main Phase 2, Wilkinson activated Pot of Duality, revealing Hero Blast, Effect Veiler, and Honest from the top of his Deck. He added Hero Blast to his hand and shuffled the other 2 cards back into his Deck. Wilkinson Set 4 cards to his back row before ending his turn.

Centamore Set a card to his back row and then Summoned Elemental Hero Neos Alius to the field! He ended his turn, and in his End Phase, Wilkinson flipped Super Polymerization! He discarded Miracle Fusion to fuse his Alius with Centamore’s, and Summon Elemental Hero The Shining to the field!

Wilkinson drew Mystical Space Typhoon next turn and used it to destroy Centamore’s face-down Dimensional Prison. He attacked directly with The Shining and then play passed to Centamore.

Centamore Set a monster and ended his turn.

Wilkinson drew Honest. He attacked Centamore’s face-down Penguin Soldier and The Shining was returned to his Extra Deck by Penguin Soldier’s effect.

Centamore tried activating Miracle Fusion next turn, but Wilkinson flipped Royal Oppression and paid 800 Life Points to negate it! Next, Centamore Normal Summoned Elemental Hero Neos Alius, but Wilkinson flipped Hero Blast to destroy Neos Alius and return a Neos Alius of his own from his Graveyard to his hand.

Wilkinson drew Dimensional Prison next turn. He Summoned Elemental Hero Neos Alius, but lost it to Torrential Tribute. Wilkinson Set Dimensional Prison before ending his turn.

Centamore Summoned Elemental Hero Ocean and attacked, but his monster was banished by Dimensional Prison.

Wilkinson drew Super Polymerization and tried to Summon Honest, but Centamore negated its Summon by giving up 2000 Life Points and activating Solemn Warning. He Set Super Polymerization before ending his turn.

Centamore attempted to Summon Elemental Hero Voltic next turn, but Wilkinson flipped Solemn Warning to negate its Summon.

Wilkinson drew Solemn Judgment and Set it.

Centamore Set a monster and a card to his back row.

Wilkinson drew Effect Veiler and passed.

Centamore passed.

Centamore activated E – Emergency Call and used it to take Elemental Hero Voltic from his Deck. He Summoned it to the field and then attacked directly with it, dropping Wilkinson down to 4200 Life Points. Voltic’s effect activated to Special Summon Elemental Hero Ocean from the banished zone, and then Wilkinson flipped Super Polymerization! He discarded Effect Veiler from his hand to fuse Centamore’s Voltic and Ocean, and Summoned Elemental Hero Absolute Zero to the field!

Wilkinson drew Neo-Spacian Grand Mole next turn and Summoned it to the field! Centamore tried flipping Super Polymerization, but then remembered that he didn’t have Elemental Hero Gaia in his Extra Deck, and immediately put it back face-down! Wilkinson attacked Centamore’s face-down monster with Grand Mole, returning both monsters to their owners’ hands. Then Absolute Zero attacked Centamore directly. In Main Phase 2, Wilkinson used Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Centamore’s face-down Super Polymerization.

Centamore tried to Special Summon Cyber Dragon next turn, but Wilkinson paid 800 Life Points to negate its Summon with Royal Oppression. Centamore Set a monster and play passed to Wilkinson.

Wilkinson Summoned Neo-Spacian Grand Mole next turn, and Centamore negated its effect with Effect Veiler. Elemental Hero Absolute Zero attacked Centamore’s face-down Snowman Eater, and Centamore was forced to use Snowman Eater to destroy Grand Mole with its effect, since he only had 800 Life Points remaining.

Centamore tried to activate Miracle Fusion next turn, but when Wilkinson negated it with Royal Oppression, Centamore immediately offered the handshake! He couldn’t defeat Wilkinson’s Elemental Hero Absolute Zero!
