Jones opened up with Rescue Rabbit, Effect Veiler, Mystical Space Typhoon, Dark Hole, Maxx “C”, and Solemn Judgment. He Summoned Rescue Rabbit and banished it to Special Summon 2 copies of Kabazauls from his Deck. Then he combined them to Xyz Summon Evolzar Laggia. Jones Set Solemn Judgment and Mystical Space Typhoon before ending his turn.

Arbeiter Set a monster along with 3 cards to his back row and ended his turn. Jones destroyed his face-down Book of Moon with Mystical Space Typhoon in the End Phase.

Jones drew Mind Control next turn, and Arbeiter flipped Trap Dustshoot, sending Effect Veiler back to Jones’s Deck. Jones attacked Arbeiter’s face-down Karakuri Strategist mdl 248 “Nishipachi” with Laggia, and when Arbeiter flipped Mirror Force, Jones negated it with Laggia’s effect in order to make sure Laggia destroyed Strategist in battle.

Arbeiter Normal Summoned Karakuri Komachi mdl 224 “Ninishi” and then used its effect to Summon a Karakuri Ninja mdl 919 “Kuick”. Jones discarded Maxx “C” from his hand, and Arbeiter Synchro Summoned Karakuri Shogun mdl 00 “Burei”. Jones drew Mystical Space Typhoon from his Deck with the effect of Maxx “C”. Next, Arbeiter used his Shogun’s effect to Special Summon Karakuri Muso mdl 818 “Haipa” from his Deck, and Jones drew Dimensional Prison thanks to Maxx “C”. Arbeiter used his Shogun’s effect to switch Evolzar Laggia to Defense Position, and then destroyed Laggia in battle with Haipa. Burei attacked directly, and Haipa switched to Defense Position.

Jones drew Effect Veiler next turn. He activated Mind Control to take control of Karakuri Shogun mdl 00 “Burei” and then Normal Summoned Effect Veiler. He Tuned Effect Veiler with Burei to Summon Stardust Dragon, and then attacked Haipa to destroy it. Jones Set Mystical Space Typhoon and Dimensional Prison before ending his turn.

Arbeiter Summoned Genex Neutron and Set a card to his back row. He used his Neutron’s effect to search his Deck for a copy of Karakuri Komachi mdl 224 “Ninishi” to add to his hand in the End Phase. Also in the End Phase, Jones flipped Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Arbeiter’s newly Set Bottomless Trap Hole.

Jones drew Pot of Avarice and activated it next turn! He sent 5 monsters from his Graveyard to his Deck to draw Tour Guide From the Underworld and Thunder King Rai-Oh. He Summoned the Tour Guide and used its effect to Special Summon another Tour Guide from his Deck. He combined his Tour Guides to Xyz Summon Leviair the Sea Dragon and then detached a Tour Guide in order to Special Summon Rescue Rabbit from his banished zone. Jones banished the Rescue Rabbit again to Special Summon 2 more Kabazauls from his Deck, and combined them to make Evolzar Dolkka. Leviair, Stardust Dragon, and Dolkka and attacked directly, dropping Arbeiter down to 700 Life Points. When Arbeiter tried to Special Summon Gorz the Emissary of Darkness from his hand, Jones detached an Xyz Material from Dolkka to negate Gorz’s effect and prevent it from reaching the field.

Jones opened up with Compulsory Evacuation Device, Dimensional Prison, Book of Moon, 2 copies of Solemn Warning, and Kabazauls. He Summoned Kabazauls and attacked directly with it. In Main Phase 2, he Set Compulsory Evacuation Device and Solemn Warning. Arbeiter destroyed the Compulsory Evacuation Device with Mystical Space Typhoon in the End Phase.

Arbeiter Set a card to each zone.

Jones drew Maxx “C” next turn. He attacked Arbeiter’s face-down Karakuri Watchdog mdl 313 “Saizan”, losing 100 Life Points, and then Set a Book of Moon.

Jones drew another Maxx “C” next turn, and Arbeiter flipped Trap Dustshoot to send 1 Maxx “C” back to Jones’s Deck. Jones attacked Arbeiter’s face-down Karakuri Komachi mdl 224 “Ninishi” with Kabazauls, costing him 200 Life Points. Then he Set Dimensional Prison and ended his turn.

Arbeiter Summoned Karakuri Ninja mdl 919 “Kuick” next turn and tried Tuning it with his Watchdog; but Jones flipped Solemn Warning and negated the Summon of Karakuri Steel Shogun mdl 00X “Bureido”! Arbeiter switched his Komachi to Attack Position in Main Phase 2 and passed.

Jones drew Torrential Tribute and Set it. He attacked Komachi and it switched to Defense Position. Jones lost 200 Life Points in the battle.

Arbeiter Normal Summoned Karakuri Merchant mdl 177 “Inashichi” next turn, using its effect to add Komachi to his hand. Then he Tuned the Merchant with Komachi to Synchro Summon Naturia Beast. The Beast attacked Kabazauls, and Jones banished it with Dimensional Prison. In Main Phase 2, Arbeiter activated Pot of Avarice, allowing him to return 5 monsters from his Graveyard to his Deck and draw 2 cards. Arbeiter Set 2 cards to his back row and then ended his turn.

Jones drew Tour Guide From the Underworld next turn. He attacked with Kabazauls, but Arbeiter flipped Dimensional Prison to banish it. Next, Jones tried to Normal Summon Tour Guide From the Underworld; but Arbeiter flipped Solemn Warning and gave up 2000 Life Points to negate its Summon.

Arbeiter Normal Summoned Karakuri Strategist mdl 248 “Nishipachi” next turn, and used its effect to switch itself to Defense Position. Then he Set a card to his back row and passed.

Jones drew a card and passed.

Arbeiter switched his Strategist to Attack Position and then Normal Summoned Thunder King Rai-Oh; but Jones flipped Torrential Tribute to destroy both of Arbeiter’s monsters!

Jones drew Gold Sarcophagus next turn, and activated it to banish Rescue Rabbit from his Deck. He’d be able to reclaim it 2 turns later. Jones Set Heavy Storm and passed. Arbeiter destroyed the Heavy Storm with Mystical Space Typhoon in the End Phase.

Jones drew another Maxx “C” and then retrieved his banished Rescue Rabbit. He Normal Summoned it and activated its effect by banishing it. He Special Summoned 2 Sabersauruses from his Deck, allowing Arbeiter to draw a card thanks to Maxx “C”. Both Dinosaurs attacked, dropping Arbeiter down to 500 Life Points. In Main Phase 2, Jones combined his 2 Dinosaurs to Xyz Summon Evolzar Laggia. Jones Set Solemn Warning before ending his turn.

Arbeiter activated Dark Hole next turn, and Jones negated it by detaching both Xyz Materials from his Laggia. Next, Arbeiter Special Summoned Cyber Dragon in Defense Position. Jones discarded Maxx “C” from his hand, expecting another Special Summon. Arbeiter Set a card to each zone and passed.

Jones drew another Maxx “C” next turn. He attacked Cyber Dragon with Laggia, destroying it in battle.

Arbeiter Normal Summoned Karakuri Merchant mdl 177 “Inashichi” and used its effect to grab a monster. Next, Arbeiter Flip Summoned Karakuri Komachi mdl 224 “Ninishi” and Jones discarded Maxx “C”. Arbeiter used Komachi’s effect to Normal Summon Karakuri Soldier mdl 236 “Nisamu”. He Tuned all 3 of his monsters together to try to Synchro Summon Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, but Jones flipped Solemn Warning and paid 2000 Life Points to negate the Summon!

Jones drew Mystical Space Typhoon next turn. He activated it to destroy Arbeiter’s face-down Solemn Warning, and then attacked directly with Evolzar Laggia, finishing Arbeiter off!
