The Top 4 Matches in the tournament both pit Dino Rabbit against Dragons. The Finals will either consist of a Dino Rabbit Mirror Match, a Dragon Mirror Match, or another Match of Dino Rabbit versus Dragons. The results of this Top 4 Feature Match, pitting Serge Poinsette’s Dino Rabbit Deck against Feng Chen’s Dragon Deck will determine which Decks and which Duelists will face off against one another in the Finals!

Duel One

Chen started out Duel 1 by activating Solar Recharge. He discarded Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress to draw 2 cards and send Eclipse Wyvern and Forbidden Lance from the top of his Deck to his Graveyard. He used his Wyvern’s effect to banish Dark Armed Dragon from his Deck. Then He Normal Summoned Tour Guide From the Underworld and activated its effect to Special Summon Sangan in Attack Position. Next, Chen activated Future Fusion! He sent 2 Lightpulsar Dragons, 2 Darkflare Dragons, and a Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from his Deck to his Graveyard so that he could Summon Five-Headed Dragon 2 turns later. Next, he combined Sangan with Tour Guide to Summon Wind-Up Zenmaines in Defense Position.

Poinsette opened up with Solemn Judgment, Effect Veiler, Mystical Space Typhoon, Kabazauls, Sabersaurus, and Tour Guide From the Underworld. He Summoned Tour Guide and used its effect to Special Summon Sangan from his Deck in Defense Position. Then he combined Sangan with Tour Guide to Summon Temtempo the Precussion Djinn! He activated its effect, but Chen used Effect Veiler to stop it. Poinsette Set 2 cards before ending his turn.

Chen activated Charge of the Light Brigade by sending the top 3 cards of his Deck to his Graveyard and searched his Deck for Lyla. He Normal Summoned it and activated its effect to target Poinsette’s face-down Mystical Space Typhoon, and Poinsette Chained the Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Chen’s Future Fusion. Chen attacked Temtempo with Zenmaines, and Poinsette used Temtempo’s effect to detach an Xyz Material from Zenmaines and gain 500 ATK. Then Zenmaines crashed into Temtempo and lost another Xyz Material. Poinsette used Effect Veiler in Main Phase 2 to prevent Zenmaines from destroying a card in the End Phase. Chen ended his turn by sending 3 cards from his Deck to his Graveyard with Lyla.

Poinsette Summoned Sabersaurus. He attacked and destroyed Chen’s Zenmaines and Lyla with Sabersaurus and Temtempo.

Chen Normal Summoned Eclipse Wyvern and then banished it to try to Summon Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon; but Poinsette activated Compulsory Evacuation Device to return it to Chen’s hand before it could use its effect. Next, Chen sent Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and Effect Veiler from his hand to his Graveyard to Summon Lightpulsar Dragon from his Graveyard, and attacked over Sabersaurus with his Dragon.

Poinsette Set a card to each zone and passed.

Chen activated Heavy Storm and Poinsette paid 3700 Life Points to negate it with Solemn Judgment. Next, Chen attacked and destroyed Poinsette’s face-down Kabazauls with Lightpulsar Dragon.

Poinsette Set a card to his back row and switched Temtempo to Defense Position.

Poinsette drew and Summoned Tour Guide From the Underworld! He activated its effect to Special Summon another Tour Guide from his Deck and then combined his Tour Guides to Xyz Summon Wind-Up Zenmaines in Defense Position!

He banished Effect Veiler and Tour Guide from his Graveyard to Special Summon it and then attacked over Lightpulsar Dragon with Black Luster Soldier. Chen lost 500 Life Points and Special Summoned Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from his Graveyard in Defense Position. Then, Poinsette attacked and destroyed Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon with his Soldier. Zenmaines and Temtempo attacked directly to drop Chen down to 2400 Life Points.

Chen activated Allure of Darkness next turn. He drew 2 cards and then banished Tour Guide From the Underworld from his hand. He activated Solar Recharge by discarding Ryko to draw 2 cards and send the top 2 cards of his Deck to his Graveyard.

Next, Chen banished Tour Guide From the Underworld and Ryko from his Graveyard to Special Summon Lightpulsar Dragon from his hand. He attacked Black Luster Soldier with his Dragon. After Lightpulsar Dragon was destroyed by battle, Chen Special Summoned Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from his Graveyard in Attack Position with his Lightpulsar’s effect. Red-Eyes attacked and destroyed Temtempo. In Main Phase 2, Chen activated his Dragon’s effect to Special Summon Lightpulsar Dragon from his Graveyard in Attack Position. Then he banished Ryko and Chaos Sorcerer from his Graveyard to try to Special Summon his own Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the Beginning; but Poinsette negated its Summon with Solemn Warning. Chen Set a monster before ending his turn.

Poinsette drew Jurrac Guaiba next turn. He Summoned it and then banished Lightpulsar Dragon with his Soldier’s effect. Next, Jurrac Guaiba attacked and destroyed Chen’s face-down Card Trooper, allowing Chen to draw a card and allowing Poinsette to Special Summon another Guaiba from his Deck. Poinsette combined his Guaibas in Main Phase 2 in order to Xyz Summon Number 39: Utopia! Poinsette switched Wind-Up Zenmaines to Defense Position before ending his turn.

Chen used his Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon’s effect to Special Summon Lightpulsar Dragon from his Graveyard and then sent a Tour Guide and Ryko from his hand to his Graveyard to Special Summon another Lightpulsar Dragon from his Graveyard. He attacked Utopia with Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and Poinsette negated the attack with Utopia’s effect. Then Lightpulsar Dragon attacked, and Poinsette negated it again. Finally, the other Lightpulsar Dragon attacked to get rid of Utopia, and then attacked into Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the Beginning. When Lightpulsar Dragon was destroyed by battle, Chen Special Summoned Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from his Graveyard. In Main Phase 2, he used his Dragon’s effect to Special Summon Lightpulsar Dragon from his Graveyard. He combined his 2 Lightpulsar Dragons to Summon Inzektor Exa-Beetle and equipped it with the Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the Beginning in his Graveyard. Then he detached an Xyz Material from his Exa-Beetle to send Poinsette’s Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the Beginning and the Black Luster Soldier attached to Chen’s Beetle to the Graveyard.

Poinsette opened up with Sabersaurus, Solemn Judgment, Dimensional Prison, and 2 copies of Kabazauls. He Summoned Sabersaurus and Set his Traps.

Chen passed.

Poinsette Summoned Kabazauls and combined it with Sabersaurus to make Evolzar Dolkka. Dolkka attacked directly to drop Chen to 5700 Life Points.

Chen activated Smashing Ground to try to destroy Dolkka, but Poinsette flipped Solemn Judgment and paid 4000 Life Points to negate it! He activated Mystical Space Typhoon next, destroying Poinsette’s Dimensional Prison. He Set a card to his back row before passing.

Poinsette drew Tour Guide From the Underworld next turn! He switched Evolzar Dolkka to Defense Position and then Summoned Tour Guide. He activated its effect to Special Summon Sangan from his Deck and then attacked directly with Tour Guide and Sangan to drop Chen down to 3700 Life Points. Poinsette combined Tour Guide with Sangan to Summon Temtempo in Main Phase 2, and Set a card to his back row. Chen flipped Compulsory Evacuation Device in the End Phase to return Dolkka to Poinsette’s Extra Deck. Poinsette Set a card before ending.

Chen activated Heavy Storm to destroy Poinsette’s Dimensional Prison and Compulsory Evacuation Device. He used Monster Reborn to revive Sabersaurus and then Tributed it to Summon Lightpulsar Dragon. Lightpulsar Dragon attacked and destroyed Temtempo.

Chen Normal Summoned Effect Veiler and Poinsette flipped Macro Cosmos. Then Chen attacked with Lightpulsar Dragon to drop Poinsette down to 700 Life Points. Chen Tuned Lightpulsar Dragon with Effect Veiler in Main Phase 2 and Synchro Summoned Ancient Sacred Wyvern with 5100 ATK!

Chen Summoned another Effect Veiler next turn and Tuned it with Ancient Sacred Wyvern to Summon Scrap Dragon. He used Scrap Dragon’s effect to destroy Poinsette’s face-down monster and then attacked directly with Scrap Dragon to win the Duel!
