WCQ Round 2: Ehrich Jackson vs. Bo Tang
Toronto’s Bo Tang was the only Canadian Duelist to represent his country at last year’s World Championship. He’s back this year for a repeat , this time with Dino Rabbit! Ehrich Jackson is from Sioux Falls, South Dakota and came ready to win with his Inzektor deck.

Duel 1
Tang opened with 2 Tour Guides From the Underworld, Sabersaurus, Solemn Warning, and Effect Veiler. He drew Mystical Space Typhoon. He began with a Tour Guide, searching out Sangan and putting it in defense position. He Set Warning and ended.
Jackson used Pot of Duality to choose Mystical Space Typhoon, putting Monster Reborn and Dark Hole back in his deck. He used MST to destroy Tang’s Warning, then he summoned Card Trooper and sent Dark Hole, Inzektor Centipede, and Pot of Duality to the Graveyard for its effect. It attacked Tour Guide for 900 damage. He Set three back row cards and ended.
Tang drew Thunder King Rai-Oh. His own Mystical Space Typhoon blew away Solemn Warning, but when he Normal Summoned Sabersaurus, Torrential Tribute cleared the field! Sangan searched out Rescue Rabbit.
Jackson passed.
Tang drew another Mystical Space Typhoon. Rabbit came down, then was banished for two copies of Sabersaurus. They both attacked for 3800 damage total, then were used for the Xyz Summon of Evolzar Laggia – but Solemn Judgment negated its summon! Tang Set Typhoon.
Jackson sent Effect Veiler to the graveyard with Foolish Burial. Then he banished Centipede and Effect Veiler for Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the Beginning! It attacked directly.
Tang drew Solemn Warning. He summoned Tour Guide, used it to summon another, and Xyz Summoned Wind-Up Zenmaines! It attacked Black Luster Soldier, taking 1500 damage but removing one of its Xyz Materials to survive. Tang Set Warning, and Zenmaines destroyed Black Luster Soldier in the End Phase.
Jackson Set two back row cards, but Tan’s MST blew up his fresh Mirror Force in the End Phase. That proved to be the deciding factor, because on his turn Tang summoned Thunder King Rai-Oh and finished the Duel with it!

Duel 2
Jackson began with Tour Guide From the Underworld, Special Summoning Sangan in defense position. He Set a back row card and ended his turn.
Tang had Tour Guide From the Underworld, Thunder King Rai-Oh, Torrential Tribute, Dust Tornado, and Dark Hole. He drew Kabazauls. He summoned his Rai-Oh, but Book of Moon prevented it from destroying Sangan. Tang Set Torrential Tribute to finish his turn.
Jackson’s Heavy Storm destroyed Torrential Tribute, then he summoned Inzektor Centipede. It equipped Inzektor Hornet from his hand, then Hornet destroyed Rai-Oh. Centipede added Inzektor Dragonfly to Jackson’s hand. Sangan, Tour Guide, and Centipede all attacked directly. He Set a back row card, then used Centipede and Tour Guide to Xyz Summon Number 23: Giga-Brilliant! He detached Tour Guide to activate its effect, then ended his turn.
Tang drew Sangan. He Set it, then used Dark Hole to clear the field! Both Sangans activated – Jackson got Inzektor Hornet, and Tang got Effect Veiler. He Set Dust Tornado and ended his turn.
Jackson summoned Inzektor Dragonfly. He activated its effect, equipping Hornet. Tang activated Dust Tornado to destroy Jackson’s face-down Imperial Iron Wall. With nothing left to destroy with Hornet, Dragonfly attacked directly, dropping Tang to 2100.
Tang drew Tour Guide From the Underworld. It brought along another Tour Guide, then Tang combined them both for Wind-Up Zenmaines only to have the summon negated by Solemn Judgment!
On his turn, Jackson added Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the Beginning to the field to finish Tang off!

Duel 3
Tang began the final Duel with a hand of Dust Tornado, Mystical Space Typhoon, Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer, Solemn Warning, and Effect Veiler. He drew Rescue Rabbit, Normal Summoned it, and Jackson used Effect Veiler on it. Tang Set Dust Tornado and Solemn Warning.
Jackson started with Tour Guide From the Underworld, but Solemn Warning negated the summon. He Set two back row cards, and Dust Tornado destroyed Inzektor Sword – Zektaliber in the End Phase.
Tang drew Mirror Force. Mystical Space Typhoon destroyed Jackson’s Rivalry of Warlords, then Rescue Rabbit used its effect to summon two Kabazauls. They were combined for Evolzar Dolkka, then Tang summoned Kycoo. Kycoo attacked and banished Tour Guide and Effect Veiler, then Dolkka attacked. He Set Mirror Force.
Jackson used Dark Hole to destroy Dolkka and Kycoo! He Set a monster and a back row card.
Tang drew Sabersaurus and attacked, but Mirror Force destroyed it.
Jackson passed.
Tang drew another Sabersaurus and attacked Inzektor Ladybug.
Jackson Set a back row.
Tang drew Forbidden Lance. Sabersaurus attacked another Ladybug, and he Set the Lance.
Jackson Set another back row.
Tang drew Kycoo. He held onto it, and Sabersaurus attacked directly.
Jackson summoned Inzektor Centipede. It equipped Ladybug, then Ladybug’s effect was used to trigger Centipede. Centipede searched out Inzektor Sword – Zektaliber, then Jackson equipped Centipede with it. When Centipede attacked, Tang tried to use Mirror Force but Solemn Judgment negated it!
Tang drew Kabazauls. He Set it and ended.
Jackson’s Pot of Duality let him have Mystical Space Typhoon, putting Tour Guide and Inzektor Giga-Mantis back in his decks. Typhoon targeted Lance, which was Chained to weaken Centipede. It didn’t matter though, as Centipede took down the Defense Position Kabazauls.
Tang drew another Lance. Jackson had 1000 Life Points left. Tang summoned his Kycoo, and attacked Centipede. In the Damage Step he used Forbidden Lance to weaken Centipede and make it unaffected by Zektaliber, winning the Match!
Bo Tang is one step further to the World Championship once again!
