Finals Feature Match: Junior Dorcin vs. Kristopher Valters
835 Duelists have been eliminated, and now only 2 remain! Junior Dorcin from Marietta, Georgia is Dueling against Kristopher Valters from Milwaukee, Wisconsin in this Final Match that will determine the champion of YCS Indianapolis!
Duel One
Dorcin opened up with Six Samurai United, Gateway of the Six, Asceticism of the Six Samurai, The Six Samurai – Zanji, Legendary Six Samurai – Kageki, and Kagemusha of the Six Samurai. He activated Gateway of the Six and Six Samurai United and then Normal Summoned Kageki. He activated its effect to Special Summon Kagemusha, and added 4 Bushido Counters to Gateway and 2 to Six Samurai United in total. He removed both Bushido Counters from Six Samurai United and 2 from Gateway of the Six to add a Kizan from his Deck to his hand with Gateway’s effect. He activated Asceticism of the Six Samurai next, targeting Kageki, and Special Summoned The Six Samurai – Irou from his Deck. He added another Bushido Counter to Six Samurai United and 2 more to Gateway of the Six. He removed all 4 Bushido Counters from Gateway of the Six to add another Kizan to his hand and then Tuned Kageki with Kagemusha to Synchro Summon Legendary Six Samurai – Shi En. He added 2 more Bushido Counters to Gateway of the Six and 1 more to Six Samurai United. He removed all of his Bushido Counters to get another Kizan from his Deck, and then Special Summoned 2 Kizans to the field, gaining 4 Bushido Counters on Gateway and 2 Bushido Counters on Six Samurai United. He removed both Bushido Counters from Six Samurai United and 2 from Gateway of the Six to add Grandmaster of the Six Samurai from his Deck to his hand. Then he Special Summoned another Kizan to add 2 more Bushido Counters to Gateway of the Six (for a total of 4) and 1 more Bushido Counter to Six Samurai United. He combined all 3 of his Kizans to Xyz Summon Number 16: Shock Master! He removed all 4 Bushido Counters from Gateway of the Six to add Legendary Six Samurai – Enishi from his Deck to his hand and then Special Summoned Grandmaster of the Six Samurai. He added 2 more Counters to Gateway and another Bushido Counter to Six Samurai United. He sent Six Samurai United to the Graveyard to draw Musakani Magatama and Solemn Warning. He Set both of them and then detached an Xyz Material from Shock Master to prevent all Spells.
Valters tried to Summon Wind-Up Magician, but Dorcin used Solemn Warning to negate its Summon. He Set 3 cards to his back row before ending his turn.
Dorcin detached an Xyz Material from Shock Master to prevent all Trap cards and then attacked with all of his monsters to wipe out all of Valters’ Life Points!
Junior Dorcin draws his best hand of the tournament and wipes out Kristopher Valters on his second turn! Valters will be going first in Duel 2!
Duel Two
Valters started off Duel 1 by Summoning Thunder King Rai-Oh and Setting a card to his back row.
Dorcin opened up with Maxx “C”, Shien’s Smoke Signal, Legendary Six Samurai – Kageki, Gateway of the Six, and 2 copies of Asceticism of the Six Samurai. He Set Kageki and Asceticism of the Six Samurai before passing.
Valters Summoned Tour Guide From the Underworld and activated its effect. Dorcin Chained Maxx “C”. Valters Special Summoned another Tour Guide from his Deck and Dorcin drew Shien’s Smoke Signal thanks to Maxx “C”. Next, Valters combined both Tour Guides to Summon Number 20: Giga-Brilliant, and Dorcin drew Rivalry of Warlords thanks to Maxx “C”. Valters detached an Xyz Material from Number 20: Giga-Brilliant to boost his Rai-Oh and Giga-Brilliant. Rai-Oh attacked and destroyed Kageki, and then Number 20: Giga-Brilliant attacked directly for 2100 points of damage.
Dorcin drew Legendary Six Samurai – Kizan next turn. He activated Gateway of the Six and then Summoned Kizan; but Valters flipped Solemn Warning and paid 2000 Life Points to negate its Summon. Dorcin Set Rivalry of Warlords before passing.
Valters drew Heavy Storm and activated it, prompting Dorcin to concede!

Duel Three
Dorcin opened up Duel 3 with Monster Reborn, Legendary Six Samurai – Enishi, Elder of the Six Samurai, Six Samurai United, Shien’s Smoke Signal, and Kagemusha of the Six Samurai. He activated Shien’s Smoke Signal to add Legendary Six Samurai – Kageki from his Deck to his hand and then activated Six Samurai United. He Normal Summoned Kageki and activated its effect to Special Summon Kagemusha, adding 2 Bushido Counters to Six Samurai United. He sent Six Samurai United to the Graveyard to draw Maxx “C” and Reinforcement of the Army, and then Tuned Kagemusha with Kageki to Synchro Summon Legendary Six Samurai – Shi En. He Set Reinforcement of the Army before ending his turn.
Valters Summoned Wind-Up Rabbit and then revealed Wind-Up Shark from his hand to Special Summon it. Dorcin Chained Maxx “C” and drew Bottomless Trap Hole! Valters reduced his Shark to Level 3 and then combined it with Rabbit to Xyz Summon Wind-Up Zenmaines in Defense Position. Valters drew Kagemusha of the Six Samurai thanks to Maxx “C”. Valters Set 4 cards to his back row before ending his turn.
Dorcin drew Dimensional Prison next turn. He tried to Normal Summon Legendary Six Samurai – Enishi, but Valters flipped Solemn Warning and paid 2000 Life Points to negate its Summon. Dorcin activated Monster Reborn to revive Enishi and then used its effect. He banished Kagemusha and Kageki from his Graveyard to return Zenmaines to Valters’s Extra Deck. He attacked directly with Enishi and Shi En to drop Valters down to 1800 Life Points. Dorcin Set Dimensional Prison and Bottomless Trap Hole before ending his turn.
Valters topdecked Wind-Up Rat and Summoned it! He used its effect to Special Summon Wind-Up Rabbit from his Graveyard.
Dorcin drew Solemn Judgment next turn. He attacked Wind-Up Rabbit with Enishi. Valters flipped Needle Ceiling; Dorcin tried to negate it with Shi En; Valters Chained another Needle Ceiling; and then Dorcin Chained the effect of his Rabbit to banish his Rat. Wind-Up Rat, Shi En, and Enishi were all destroyed! Dorcin Set Solemn Judgment and Kagemusha of the Six Samurai before ending his turn.
Valters returned Wind-Up Rat to the field in his Standby Phase and used its effect to Special Summon Wind-Up Rat. He Set a monster before passing.
Dorcin drew Grandmaster of the Six Samurai. He activated his face-down Reinforcement of the Army and added The Six Samurai – Irou from his Deck to his hand. Next, he Flip Summoned Kagemusha of the Six Samurai and Special Summoned Grandmaster. He Normal Summoned Irou next, and used Irou to attack and destroy Valters’s face-down Sangan.
Valters added Tour Guide From the Underworld from his Deck to his hand with Sangan’s effect. Grandmaster attacked Rabbit, and Valters used Rabbit’s effect to banish Rat. Rabbit was destroyed in battle, and then Kagemusha of the Six Samurai attacked Valters directly.
Valters returned his Rat to the field next turn and then used its effect to Special Summon Wind-Up Rabbit from his Graveyard. He Normal Summoned Tour Guide From the Underworld and activated Tour Guide’s effect to Special Summon another Tour Guide from his Deck. He combined both Tour Guides to Summon Wind-Up Carrier Zenmaity; but Dorcin flipped Bottomless Trap Hole and banished it! Valters combined his Rabbit with his Rat to Summon Number 17: Leviathan Dragon and then detached Rat from Number 17: Leviathan Dragon to give it a 500 ATK boost. Finally, he activated his last in-hand card, Pot of Avarice! Dorcin flipped Solemn Judgment and paid 4000 Life Points to try to negate it; but Valters flipped his own Solemn Judgment and paid 700 Life Points to make sure it resolved! He sent 5 monsters from his Graveyard back to his Deck to draw 2 cards. Finally, he attacked Kagemusha with Number 17: Leviathan Dragon. Valters activated Dimensional Prison to banish Number 17: Leviathan Dragon, and then it was all over a turn later!
Dorcin attacked directly with Grandmaster of the Six Samurai, finishing the Duel, and sealing the victory for Junior Dorcin.
