Junior Dorcin from Marietta, Georgia and Parker Roberson from Indianapolis, Indiana both made it to the Top 4 with unconventional Decks. Dorcin is using a Six Samurai Deck boosted by Shadow of the Six Samurai – Shien from the new Six Samurai Structure Deck. Roberson is running Hieratics! Only one of these Duelists can advance to the Finals!

Duel One

Dorcin opened up with Kagemusha of the Six Samurai, Six Samurai United, Bottomless Trap Hole, The Six Samurai – Irou, Legendary Six Samurai – Kizan, and Solemn Judgment. He activated Six Samurai United and then Normal Summoned Kagemusha. He added a Bushido Counter to Six Samurai United and then Special Summoned Kizan to add another Counter. He sent Six Samurai United to the Graveyard to draw Dimensional Prison and Double-Edged Sword Technique. Dorcin Set 4 Trap Cards before ending his turn.

Roberson activated Hieratic Seal of Convocation to add Hieratic Dragon of Su from his Deck to his hand. He Summoned Hieratic Dragon of Eset without Tribute and then Tributed it to Special Summon Su. Docin used Bottomless Trap Hole to banish Su, and Roberson used Eset’s effect to Special Summon Luster Dragon #2 from his Deck. He activated Monster Reborn next, and Special Summoned Hieratic Dragon of Eset from his Graveyard. He Tributed Eset to Special Summon Su and then used Eset’s effect to Special Summon Wattaildragon from his hand. He combined Wattaildragon with Su to Xyz Summon Inzektor Exa-Beetle; but Dorcin flipped Solemn Judgment and paid 4000 Life Points to negate its Summon.

Dorcin Normal Summoned Irou and then attacked Luster Dragon #2 with Kagemusha to destroy it. Direct attacks from Kizan and Irou dropped Roberson down to 4200 Life Points.

Roberson tried to Summon Cardcar D; but Dorcin flipped Solemn Warning and paid 2000 Life Points to negate its Summon. Roberson Set a card to his back row before ending his turn.

Dorcin drew Maxx “C”. He Tuned Kagemusha with Kizan to Summon Naturia Barkion and then activated Double-Edged Sword Technique! Roberson instantly conceded, knowing that his 4200 Life Points wouldn’t even be enough to withstand attacks from Irou and Barkion!

Duel Two

Roberson started off Duel 2 by activating Pot of Duality to reveal Cardcar D, Forbidden Lance, and Hieratic Dragon of Tefnuit from the top of his Deck. He added Cardcar D to his hand and shuffled the other 2 cards back into his Deck. He Summoned Cardcar D and then Set a back row. He sent Cardcar D to the Graveyard to draw 2 cards and enter his End Phase with its effect

Dorcin opened up with Shien’s Smoke Signal, Six Samurai United, Solemn Judgment, Legendary Six Samurai – Kizan, and 2 copies of Kagemusha of the Six Samurai.

He activated Shien’s Smoke Signal to add Legendary Six Samurai – Kageki to his hand and then activated Six Samurai United. He Summoned Kageki and activated its effect to Special Summon Kagemusha of the Six Samurai to the field. Roberson used Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Six Samurai United before Dorcin could send it to the Graveyard to draw 2 cards. Dorcin Tuned Kagemusha with Kageki to Summon Legendary Six Samurai – Shi En and then attacked directly to drop Roberson down to 5500 Life Points. Roberson Set Solemn Judgment before ending his turn.

Roberson Special Summoned Hieratic Dragon of Tefnuit and then Tributed it to Special Summon Hieratic Dragon of Su. He used Tefnuit’s effect to Special Summon Luster Dragon #2 from his Deck. Then he used Su’s effect to Tribute Hieratic Dragon of Nebthet from his hand to destroy Dorcin’s face-down Solemn Judgment. He used Nebthet’s effect to Special Summon Wattaildragon from his hand.

Roberson combined Luster Dragon #2 with Hieratic Dragon of Su to Summon Hieratic Dragon King of Atum and then detached Luster Dragon #2 from Atum to Special Summon Eset from his Deck. He copied Wattaildragon’s Level with Eset and then combined both Dragons to Summon another Atum. He detached Wattaildragon from Atum to Special Summon Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from his Deck and then used Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to Special Summon Hieratic Dragon of Tefnuit from his Graveyard. Next, he returned Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to his hand to Special Summon Genex Ally Birdman. He banished Atum to Special Summon Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and then used Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon’s effect to Special Summon Wattaildragon from his Graveyard. He combined Wattaildragon with Tefnuit to Summon Atum and then detached Wattaildragon to Special Summon Nebthet from his Deck in Defense Position. He Tuned Genex Ally Birdman with Nebthet to Summon Scrap Dragon.  He Set Hieratic Seal of Convocation and used Scrap Dragon’s effect to destroy the Hieratic Seal as well as Dorcin’s Legendary Six Samurai – Enishi. Finally, he upgraded both Atums into 2 copies of Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger! Direct attacks from both Thunder Chargers, Scrap Dragon, and Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon wiped out all 8000 of Roberson’s Life Points!

An explosive hand for Parker Roberson allows him to quickly defeat Junior Dorcin in Duel 2! Dorcin will be going first in Duel 3!

Duel Three

Dorcin opened up with Solemn Judgment, Dimensional Prison, Compulsory Evacuation Device, Asceticism of the Six Samurai, Legendary Six Samurai – Kageki, and Kagemusha of the Six Samurai. He Summoned Kageki and activated its effect to Special Summon Kagemusha of the Six Samurai. Then he activated Asceticism of the Six Samurai, targeting Kageki. He Special Summoned Legendary Six Samurai – Enishi from his Deck with its effect and then Set all of his Traps to his back row. He Tuned Kageki with Kagemusha to Synchro Summon Legendary Six Samurai – Shi En before ending his turn.

Roberson Set 4 cards to his back row and passed.

Dorcin attacked directly with Enishi to drop Roberson down to 6300 Life Points. Shi En didn’t attack. In Dorcin’s End Phase, Roberson used Compulsory Evacuation Device to try to return Shi En to the Extra Deck. Dorcin negated it with Shi En’s effect; Roberson Chained Compulsory Evacuation Device to target Shi En again; and Dorcin flipped Solemn Judgment and gave up 4000 Life Points to negate the second Compulsory Evacuation Device! Roberson used Mystical Space Typhoon in the End Phase to destroy Dorcin’s face-down Compulsory Evacuation Device.

Roberson activated Hieratic Seal of Convocation and Dorcin negated it with Shi En. He Summoned Hieratic Dragon of Tefnuit next.

Dorcin Summoned The Six Samurai – Irou and then Special Summoned Legendary Six Samurai – Kizan. Attacks from Enishi, Irou, Kizan, and Shi En finished Roberson off!
