Duel One

 

Vrabel started off Duel 1 by Summoning Thunder King Rai-Oh and ending his turn.

 

Tuttobene opened up with Maxx “C”, Heavy Storm, 2 copies of Effect Veiler, and 2 copies of Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress. He Summoned Lyla and entered his End Phase to send Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter, Darkflare Dragon, and Tragoedia from the top of his Deck to his Graveyard with Lyla’s effect.

 

Vrabel Summoned Card Trooper and activated its effect by sending Thunder King Rai-Oh, Torrential Tribute, and The Agent of Creation – Venus from the top of his Deck to his Graveyard. Then he activated Monster Reborn to target Venus from the Graveyard, and Tuttobene Chained Maxx “C” to draw Solar Recharge. Card Trooper attacked and destroyed Lyla, and then Venus and Rai-Oh attacked directly to drop Tuttobene down to 4300 Life Points.

 

 

Tuttobene drew Tour Guide From the Underworld next turn. He activated Solar Recharge by discarding Lyla, and drew Night Assailant and Monster Reborn from the top of his Deck. He sent Dark Hole and Lyla from the top of his Deck to his Graveyard with the latter effect of Solar Recharge. He activated Monster Reborn to Special Summon Tragoedia from his Graveyard in Attack Position and then discarded Night Assailant to try to take control of Card Trooper with the effect of Tragoedia; but Vrabel discarded Herald of Orange Light and The Agent of Mystery – Earth from his hand to negate Tragoedia’s effect with Herald of Orange Light. Tuttobene added Ryko from his Graveyard to his hand with the effect of Night Assailant when it was discarded. Tuttobene Set Ryko before ending his turn.

 

Vrabel activated the effect of Venus by paying 500 Life Points; but Tuttobene negated it by discarding Effect Veiler. Next, he activated Card Trooper’s effect by sending Heavy Storm, Master Hyperion, and Honest from the top of his Deck to his Graveyard. He banished Earth from his Graveyard to Special Summon Master Hyperion and then banished Herald of Orange Light to try to destroy Tuttobene’s face-down Ryko with Master Hyperion’s effect; but Tuttobene discarded another Veiler to negate the effect of Master Hyperion. Rai-Oh attacked Ryko, and Ryko flipped face-up and activated its effect. Ryko destroyed Master Hyperion and sent Card Trooper, Solar Recharge, and Eclipse Wyvern from the top of Tuttobene’s Deck to his Graveyard. He banished Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from his Deck with the effect of Eclipse Wyvern. Next, Venus and Card Trooper attacked directly to drop Tuttobene down to 800 Life Points.

 

Tuttobene drew Effect Veiler next turn and conceded, unable to take down Vrabel’s field.

Duel Two

 

 

Tuttobene opened up Duel 2 with Solar Recharge, Dark Armed Dragon, Maxx “C”, Charge of the Light Brigade, Tour Guide From the Underworld, and Effect Veiler.

 

 

He activated Charge of the Light Brigade by sending Lightpulsar Dragon; Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter; and Pot of Avarice from the top of his Deck to his Graveyard and searched his Deck for a copy of Ryko to add to his hand. Next, he activated Solar Recharge by discarding Ryko. He drew 2 more copies of Maxx “C” and sent Heavy Storm and Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress from the top of his Deck to his Graveyard. He Summoned Tour Guide From the Underworld and activated its effect to Special Summon Night Assailant from his Deck. Then he combined Tour Guide with Night Assailant to Summon Wind-Up Zenmaines in Defense Position.

 

 

Vrabel Summoned Thunder King Rai-Oh and Set 2 cards to his back row.

 

Tuttobene Summoned Card Trooper and used its effect by sending Darkflare Dragon, Mystical Space Typhoon, and Solar Recharge from the top of his Deck to his Graveyard. He attacked Rai-Oh with Card Trooper, but lost his Trooper to Vrabel’s Dimensional Prison.

 

Vrabel Summoned Card Trooper and activated its effect to boost it to 1900 ATK by sending Master Hyperion, Call of the Haunted, and The Agent of Mystery – Earth from the top of his Deck to his Graveyard.

 

Tuttobene drew Thunder King Rai-Oh next turn and Summoned it. He attacked Vrabel’s Rai-Oh with his own, destroying both of them.

 

Vrabel sent Master Hyperion, Herald of Orange Light, and Solemn Warning from the top of his Deck to his Graveyard to boost his Card Trooper to 1900 ATK once again. Then he Normal Summoned another Card Trooper and sent Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the Beginning, Soul Taker, and The Agent of Creation – Venus from the top of his Deck to his Graveyard to give it an extra 1500 ATK for the turn. He activated Monster Reborn to Special Summon Master Hyperion next, and Tuttobene Chained Maxx “C” to draw Ryko. Next, Vrabel Special Summoned Archlord Kristya and used its effect to add Master Hyperion from his Graveyard to his hand. Tuttobene drew Compulsory Evacuation Device with Maxx “C”. Vrabel banished Herald of Orange Light from his Graveyard to attempt to destroy Wind-Up Zenmaines with the effect of Master Hyperion, but Tuttobene negated its effect with Effect Veiler. Vrabel ended his turn without attacking after his Hyperion’s effect was negated.

 

Tuttobene drew Monster Reborn next turn. He switched Wind-Up Zenmaines into Attack Position and then attacked Master Hyperion with Zenmaines. He lost 1200 Life Points and an Xyz Material from Zenmaines in the battle. He Set Ryko and Compulsory Evacuation Device before destroying Master Hyperion in the End Phase with Zenmaines’s effect. In the End Phase, Vrabel used Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Tuttobene’s face-down Compulsory Evacuation Device.

Wind-Up Zenmaines lost an Xyz Material, Ryko was destroyed, Kristya returned to the top of Vrabel’s Deck, and then Vrabel drew 2 cards with the effect of his Troopers. Tuttobene activated Maxx “C” as soon as Dark Hole resolved. Vrabel Normal Summoned The Agent of Creation – Venus and then paid 1000 Life Points to Special Summon 2 copies of Mystical Shine Ball from his Deck. Tuttobene drew 2 cards thanks to Maxx “C”. Next, Vrabel combined both Shine Balls to Summon Daigusto Phoenix and Tuttobene drew another card. Vrabel detached an Xyz Material from Daigusto Phoenix and used its effect to enable it to attack twice. Vrabel Special Summoned Master Hyperion by banishing his on-field Venus, allowing Tuttobene to draw another card from Maxx “C”. Next, he Special Summoned Kristya, but Tuttobene discarded Effect Veiler to negate its effect. Tuttobene drew another card off of Maxx “C”. Kristya attacked Wind-Up Zenmaines to drop Tuttobene down to 5500 Life Points, and Tuttobene Special Summoned Tragoedia in Defense Position with 3600 Defense Position while Kristya’s effect was still negated.

 

Tuttobene drew Sangan next turn. He Summoned Lyla and activated its effect to destroy Vrabel’s Torrential Tribute. Next, he activated Dark Hole to wipe out every monster on the field! He banished a DARK and LIGHT monster from his Graveyard to Special Summon Darkflare Dragon next, and then Special Summoned Dark Armed Dragon. He activated Monster Reborn to Special Summon Thunder King Rai-Oh from the Graveyard, and then direct attacks from Darkflare Dragon, Thunder King Rai-Oh, and Dark Armed Dragon finished Vrabel off!

Tuttobene opened up with Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon; Darkflare Dragon; Sangan; Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress; Pot of Avarice; and Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter. He Summoned Lyla and activated its effect to destroy Vrabel’s face-down Dimensional Prison. He sent Dark Hole, Night Assailant, and Darkflare Dragon from the top of his Deck to his Graveyard with Lyla’s effect in the End Phase.

 

Vrabel Set a card to his back row and passed.

 

Tuttobene drew Eclipse Wyvern. He Summoned it and attacked directly, dropping Vrabel down to 6400 Life Points. In his End Phase, he sent Card Trooper, Maxx “C”, and Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter from the top of his Deck to his Graveyard with Lyla’s effect.

 

Vrabel drew a card and passed.

 

Tuttobene drew Solar Recharge. He switched Lyla into Attack Position and tried to use its effect; but Vrabel discarded Herald of Orange Light and Master Hyperion to negate the effect and destroy Lyla. Next, Tuttobene activated Solar Recharge by discarding Ryko and drew Effect Veiler and Chaos Sorcerer. He sent 2 Veilers from the top of his Deck to his Graveyard with Solar Recharge’s effect. Next, Tuttobene activated Pot of Avarice! He sent Maxx “C”, Card Trooper, Effect Veiler, Ryko, and Lyla back into his Deck to draw Compulsory Evacuation Device and Lightpulsar Dragon. Next, he Tributed Eclipse Wyvern to Summon Darkflare Dragon and used his Wyvern’s effect to banish Dark Armed Dragon from his Deck. He sent Lightpulsar Dragon from his hand to his Graveyard to send another Lightpulsar Dragon from his Deck to his Graveyard and try to banish Master Hyperion from Vrable’s Graveyard with the effect of Lightpulsar Dragon; but Vrabel Chained Call of the Haunted and Special Summoned Master Hyperion to the field instead! Next, Tuttobene banished Eclipse Wyvern and Night Assailant from his Graveyard to Special Summon Chaos Sorcerer. Wyvern’s effect activated to add Dark Armed Dragon to Tuttobene’s hand. Tuttobene activated his Sorcerer’s effect to banish Master Hyperion next, and then banished Darkflare Dragon from his field to Special Summon Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from his hand. He activated his Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon’s effect to Special Summon Lightpulsar Dragon from his Graveyard and then sent Effect Veiler and Sangan from his hand to his Graveyard to Special Summon Lightpulsar Dragon back from the Graveyard. Tuttobene combined Lightpulsar Dragon with Chaos Sorcerer to Summon Photon Strike Bounzer and then attacked directly with Photon Strike Bounzer, Lightpulsar Dragon, and Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to finish the Duel and the Match!
