Cardona drew Solemn Judgment. He Normal Summoned Tour Guide From the Underworld, using it to Special Summon Night Assailant. He stacked his Fiends to Xyz Summon Leviair the Sea Dragon, detaching Assailant to bring back Rabbit. He banished that for 2 Sabersauruses, then Xyz Summoned Evolzar Dolkka! Dolkka attacked De la Cruz’s face-down Genex Controller. Leviair attacked directly, as did Laggia. Cardona Set Solemn Judgment to end.

De la Cruz discarded Atlantean Dragoons and Moulinglacia the Elemental Lord to Special Summon Mermail Abyssmegalo. Cardona negated Abyssmegalo with Dolkka, then also negated Dragoons. De la Cruz Summoned Genex Undine next, and Laggia negated its Summon.

Cardona drew Compulsory Evacuation Device. He used Leviair to bring back Rabbit once more, then Normal Summoned Sabersaurus. Sabersaurus attacked directly, and De la Cruz played his Gorz the Emissary of Darkness! Dolkka destroyed the token. In Main Phase 2, he stacked Sabersaurus and Rabbit for Abyss Dweller, then Set Compulsory Evacuation Device.

De la Cruz passed with nothing but Gorz.

Cardona drew Cardcar D. He used Compulsory Evacuation Device to return Gorz to the hand, then attacked directly for the win!

Alfredo Cardona leads with an unbreakable field of Laggia, Dolkka, Starlight Road, Solemn Judgment, and more! There was just no way for De la Cruz to fight through it.

Duel 2

De la Cruz started off with a Set monster and a back row.

Cardona had 2 Jurrac Guaibas, Mystical Space Typhoon, Sabersaurus, Heavy Storm, and Monster Reborn. He played a Guaiba and attacked, destroying Genex Controller. Guaiba brought another Guaiba to the field. In Main Phase 2, he Xyz Summoned Evolzar Dolkka.

De la Cruz Set a back row.

Cardona drew Solemn Judgment. He played Heavy Storm, and De la Cruz Chained Compulsory Evacuation Device to get rid of Dolkka, but lost his Gozen Match. Cardona continued by playing his last Guaiba, then using Monster Reborn for another. He Xyz Summoned Dolkka once again, and attacked directly, then Set Judgment and Typhoon.

De la Cruz played his own Heavy Storm! Cardona chose not to use his Solemn Judgment, so he lost it and Typhoon. De la Cruz Normal Summoned Deep Sea Diva, and Dolkka negated it. He Set a back row.

Cardona drew Macro Cosmos. Dolkka attacked directly, and he Set Macro Cosmos.

In the Draw Phase, Cardona activated Macro Cosmos. De la Cruz Set a monster and passed.

Cardona drew Cardcar D. Dolkka attacked destroyed Atlantean Marksman, which was banished.

De la Cruz passed.

Cardona drew Dimensional Prison. Dolkka attacked, and when De la Cruz used Tragoedia, Dolkka negated it. Cornejo Set Prison.

De la Cruz destroyed Prison with his Set Typhoon, then Normal Summoned Diva to bring out Marksman. He Synchro Summoned Ally of Justice Catastor and destroyed Dolkka.

Cardona drew another Sabersaurus. He Normal Summoned Cardcar D and used it to draw Solemn Warning and Rescue Rabbit, ending his turn.

De la Cruz attacked directly with Catastor, then Set a monster.

Cardona drew Dark Hole! He cleared the field, and with only 1100 Life Points, Sabersaurus ended the Match!
