Alfredo Tiznado is the last Fire Fist Duelist left in the tournament. Now he’s Dueling against Alexander Chavira – the last Frog Monarch Duelist in the tournament! Both of these Duelists have never made it into the Top 32 before, and now they’re Dueling for the experience of a lifetime, as one of them will make it into the Finals!
Duel One
Chavira started off Duel 1 by Setting a monster and passing his turn.
Tiznado opened up with Mystical Space Typhoon, Reborn Tengu, Solemn Warning, Gene-Warped Warwolf, Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Gorilla, and Fire Formation – Tenki. He Normal Summoned his Gorilla and then attacked Chavira’s face-down Ronintoadin, losing 400 Life Points in the battle. Tiznado Set Solemn Judgment and Mystical Space Typhoon before ending his turn.
Chavira Tributed Ronintoadin to Summon Raiza the Storm Monarch, and used Raiza’s effect to send Gorilla to the top of Tiznado’s Deck. Next, he attacked directly with Raiza, dropping Tiznado down to 5200 Life Points.
Tiznado drew his Gorilla again and then activated Fire Formation – Tenki to search his Deck for Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Bear. He Summoned Bear to the field, and Chavira discarded Effect Veiler to negate its effect.
Chavira activated Soul Exchange targeting Tiznado’s Bear, and Tributed it to Summon Caius the Shadow Monarch! He activated Caius’s effect to banish Tiznado’s face-down Mystical Space Typhoon from the Duel, and then combined Raiza with Caius to try to Xyz Summon Photon Strike Bounzer; but Tiznado flipped Solemn Judgment and gave up 2600 Life Points to negate its Summon.
Tiznado activated another Tenki next turn to add a Bear to his hand, and Summoned it to the field. He attacked directly with his Bear, dropping Chavira down to 6200 Life Points, and then used his Bear’s effect to Set Fire Formation – Tensu to his field. He flipped it in Main Phase 2 and then used its effect to Normal Summon Gene-Warped Warwolf. Chavira discarded Maxx “C” and then Tiznado ended his turn.
Chavira activated Monster Reborn to Special Summon Raiza from his Graveyard and then attacked Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Bear, destroying it in battle and dealing 500 points of damage to Tiznado. Chavira Set a monster before ending his turn.
Tiznado Summoned Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Gorilla. He combined his Gorilla with his Warwolf to Xyz Summon Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Tiger King! He used its effect to Set Tenki from his Deck and then flipped it up to search his Deck for a copy of Bear to add to his hand. Next, Tiznado used Tensu to Normal Summon Bear and used the effect of Bear to send Tenki to the Graveyard and destroy Raiza. Tiger King attacked and destroyed Chavira’s face-down Treeborn Frog and then Bear attacked directly, dropping Chavira down to 4300 Life Points. Tiznado Set a card to his back row before ending his turn.
Chavira Special Summoned Treeborn Frog in his Standby Phase and then Tributed Treeborn Frog to Summon Jinzo! He attacked Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Bear with Jinzo, destroying the Bear and dropping Tiznado down to 1600 Life Points.
Tiznado activated the effect of Tiger King by detaching an Xyz Material from it and then Normal Summoned Reborn Tengu. He attacked Jinzo to destroy it with Tiger King and deal 100 points of damage to Tiznado, and then attacked directly with Tengu. Tiznado Set a back row before passing.
Chavira Special Summoned Treeborn Frog in his Standby Phase and then activated Enemy Controller to Tribute it and take control of Tiger King. Next, while he was still in his Standby Phase, he Special Summoned Treeborn Frog back to the field. Chavira attacked Reborn Tengu with Tiger King, dealing 200 points of damage to Tiznado and allowing Tiznado to Special Summon another Tengu from his Deck when his first one left the field. In Main Phase 2, Chavira Tributed Tiger King to Summon Caius. Tiznado flipped Fiendish Chain to negate Caius’s effect.

Chavira Tributed Treeborn Frog for Dark Dust Spirit and used his Dark Dust Spirit’s effect to clear the field! He tried to attack directly to finish the Duel; but Tiznado flipped Dimensional Prison and banished Dark Dust Spirit from the Duel!
It was all over on the next turn, when Tiznado activated Monster Reborn to Special Summon Caius from Chavira’s Graveyard and then attack directly, wiping out Tiznado’s last 2200 Life Points!

Duel Two
Chavira started off Duel 2 by activating Pot of Duality, revealing Heavy Storm, Mystical Space Typhoon, and Dark Hole from the top of his Deck. He added Heavy Storm to his hand and shuffled the other cards back into his Deck. Chavira Set a monster before passing.
Tiznado opened up Duel 2 with Bottomless Trap Hole, Dark Hole, Breakthrough Skill, Tour Guide From the Underworld, and 2 copies of Fiendish Chain. He Summoned Tour Guide From the Underworld and activated its effect to Special Summon another copy of Tour Guide from his Deck. He combined both Tour Guides to Xyz Summon Number 17: Leviathan Dragon and then detached an Xyz Material from Leviathan Dragon to boost its ATK by 500. He attacked and destroyed Chavira’s face-down Treeborn Frog. Tiznado Set Breakthrough Skill before ending his turn.
Chavira Special Summoned Treeborn Frog in his Standby Phase and then Tributed it to Summon Caius. He tried activating its effect, but Tiznado negated it with Breakthrough Skill!
Tiznado Summoned Reborn Tengu next turn. Leviathan Dragon attacked and destroyed Caius, dealing 100 points of damage to Chavira, and Chavira Special Summoned Tragoedia in Defense Position with 2400 Defense Position. Tiznado Set Fiendish Chain before ending his turn.

Chavira activated Heavy Storm to destroy Fiendish Chain and then Tributed Treeborn Frog to Summon Jinzo! He used the effect of Tragoedia to copy the Level of the Caius in his Graveyard and then combined Tragoedia with Jinzo to Xyz Summon Photon Strike Bounzer. He attacked Number 17: Leviathan Dragon with his Photon Strike Bounzer, destroying it in battle and dealing 200 points of damage to Tiznado.
Tiznado activated Dark Hole to clear the field and Special Summoned another Tengu from his Deck. Next, he Normal Summoned Banisher of the Radiance. Chavira paid another 100 Life Points to keep Messenger of Peace on the field, and then Tributed Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Bear and Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Tiger King to Summon Lava Golem; but with Jinzo’s effect negated by Tiger King, Tiznado flipped Torrential Tribute to clear the field!
Tiznado drew Monster Reborn next turn! He activated Pot of Duality to reveal Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Gorilla and 2 Dimensional Prisons from the top of his Deck. He added the Gorilla to his hand and shuffled the other 2 cards back into his Deck. He Summoned the Gorilla and then sent Tenki to the Graveyard to destroy Messenger of Peace. He attacked directly with Gorilla to drop Chavira down to 6000 Life Points and then Set Rivalry of Warlords before ending his turn.

Tiznado drew Tenki next turn and activated it to add Bear to his hand. He used the effect of his Gorilla to send Tenki to the Graveyard and destroy Chavira’s face-down Treacherous Trap Hole; but Chavira Chained the Treacherous Trap Hole to destroy his own Treeborn Frog and Tiznado’s Gorilla. Both monsters were banished by Dimensional Fissure. Tiznado Summoned Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Bear next, and attacked directly to drop Chavira down to 4400 Life Points. Tiznado Set Tenki from his Deck with the effect of his Bear.
Chavira activated Soul Exchange to Tribute Tiznado’s Bear and Set a monster.
Tiznado activated Tenki, but then realized he had no cards left in his Deck for him to take with it!

Finally, Chavira activated Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Tiznado’s Dimensional Fissure. Next, he activated Foolish Burial to send Treeborn Frog from his Deck to his Graveyard.
Tiznado activated Monster Reborn to Special Summon Bear from his Graveyard and then sent Tenki to the Graveyard to destroy Chavira’s face-down Dark Dust Spirit. Tiznado declared a direct attack with his Bear, but Chavira blocked the attack by Special Summoning Battle Fader. Tiznado Set 2 cards to his back row before ending his turn.
Chavira activated Soul Exchange to target Bear, but Tiznado Chained Forbidden Lance, targeting the Bear. Next, Chavira Tributed Battle Fader to try to Summon Caius; but Tiznado activated Solemn Judgment to negate Caius’s Summon! Chavira used Dark Hole next, but it didn’t do anything due to the effect of Forbidden Lance.
Tiznado attacked directly with Bear. He activated Dimensional Fissure and then Set a back row.

Chavira Tributed his face-down Treeborn Frog to Summon Raiza the Storm Monarch and used Raiza’s effect to target Bear. Tiznado Chained Bottomless Trap Hole to banish Raiza, and then put his Bear on top of his Deck.
Tiznado drew his Bear again and then Summoned it. Next, he activated Tensu and attacked directly with Bear to drop Chavira down to 1100 Life Points.
Chavira passed.
Tiznado tried to attack with his Bear, but was blocked by Battle Fader. He sent Tensu to the Graveyard with Bear’s effect to destroy the Battle Fader.
