Welcome to YCS Meadowlands, New Jersey
Duelists across the country are having a blast in Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy Sneak Peeks this weekend; but a bold 1580 Duelists are here in New Jersey instead, competing in the last YCS event to take place before Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy shakes up the tournament scene!
We’ve seen lots of Mermail and Fire Fist Decks rise to the top at recent events, while several others including Prophecy, Dino Rabbit, and Wind-Ups have proven themselves as competitive Decks. Will Mermail and Fire Fist Decks maintain their status of dominance this weekend, or will new contenders rise to the top?
Hidden Arsenal 7: Knight of Stars is legal in a YCS tournament for the first time today, so we’re bound to see some high-level action from powerful cards like Lavalval Chain, Daigusto Emeral, and Evilswarm Ophion. Many Duelists are speculating that the new Evilswarm archetype introduced in Hidden Arsenal 7: Knight of Stars will catapult the “lswarm” Deck type to the top of the tournament scene. Will these predictions hold true?
By the end of the weekend, we’ll have a strong grasp of the pre-Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy tournament scene. We’ll see which Decks rise to the top and which ones come up short. But everything will change on May 17th, when Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy becomes legal and bolsters Prophecy Decks, Dragon Decks, Mermail Decks, Fire Fist Decks, and more!
Welcome to the first YCS tournament since the release of Hidden Arsenal 7: Knight of Stars, and the last YCS tournament before the release of Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy. Welcome to YCS Meadowlands!
