Organized Play Update: The World Championships!
On August 10th and 11th we’ll see a true first for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME, as Championship-level Dueling heads to the Entertainment Capital Of The World for the first time ever – Las Vegas, Nevada! The Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2013 will see 27 of the planet’s greatest Duelists duke it out for the title of World Champion in the main event, while 18 of the best youth Duelists in the world compete for the Dragon Duel Championship.
Spectators are welcome to witness Dueling history as the Championships play out in the Grand Ballroom of Bally’s Las Vegas, and Day 2 of the competition will be live streamed to fans across the globe! If you come to see the spectacle in person, watching the Championships is just the beginning. Free Public Events will be held all weekend long at the Bally’s Event Center, and you’re invited! ~32-player 2014 Single Elimination Regional Qualifiers, awarding a Regional Deck Box, a Judgment of the Light game mat, and an invite to the 2014 World Championship Qualifier to first place.
~8-player Single Elimination Dragon Duels, giving youth Duelists a chance to win Dragon Duel T-Shirts and an invite to the 2014 Dragon Duel World Championship Qualifier.
~An ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!! tournament, offering a Giant-Sized Promo Card to the victor.
~16-player Win-A-Mat tournaments, offering Win-A-Mat game mats to winners.
~Tag Dueling in 8-Team flights, with as-of-yet unannounced mystery prizes…
Everything but ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!! will run on an ongoing basis, and tournaments start as soon as there are enough players. Remember, everything is free, all weekend long.

What is the Giant Card Challenge? If you’ve ever wanted to play Giant Yu-Gi-Oh! on a Giant Playmat with Giant Cards, this is what you’ve been waiting for. The cards are huge, and the playmat’s so big you can walk on it – in fact, you’ll have to. Duelists play a complete Giant Round of Giant Competition, with the winner walking away with a slew of stamps! It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to Duel like you’ve never Dueled before.
