Yugi or Kaiba?
The first Starter Deck Yugi and Kaiba Reloaded Tournament is underway, and all 8 participants have randomly been given Decks to use representing one of these 2 Duelists. I surveyed all of the players participating in this tournament to see which Deck they think is stronger.
Steven Silverman
Steven Silverman was randomly given a Starter Deck: Yugi Reloaded to use in the tournament, and is happy about it.
“The Yugi one is probably better because it has Mirror Force, and Kaiba’s Deck doesn’t. Kaiba has Sakuretsu Armor instead.”
While Silverman is happy to have received a Starter Deck: Yugi Reloaded for the tournament, he insists that Seto Kaiba will always be his favorite character from the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series.
James Pate
James Pate was thrilled to receive a Starter Deck: Kaiba Reloaded in the tournament, and insists that Kaiba’s Deck is the stronger Deck.
“We have stronger monsters!”
Seto Kaiba is all about power, and so is James Pate. Pate likes Kaiba better than Yugi in the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series, and is hoping that his loyalty to Kaiba will reward him in this tournament.
Fei Huang
Fei Huang believes that Starter Deck: Yugi Reloaded is stronger than Starter Deck: Kaiba Reloaded, and was consequently happy about receiving Starter Deck: Yugi Reloaded to use in the tournament.
“It has a good balance of monsters, and better Spell and Trap Cards.”
Fei Huang likes Kaiba better than Yugi as a character in the original animated Yu-Gi-Oh! series, but tried to be impartial while deeming Yugi’s Deck as the stronger Deck.
David Tse
David Tse thinks that Starter Deck: Yugi Reloaded is stronger than Starter Deck: Kaiba Reloaded, but was randomly given Starter Deck: Kaiba Reloaded to use at the start of the tournament. Tse says he’ll fear Yugi’s Buster Blader throughout the tournament.
“Buster Blader lets Yugi’s Deck take advantage of the Kaiba’s Deck.”
Tse thinks that Starter Deck: Yugi Reloaded was built to beat Starter Deck: Kaiba Reloaded, but likes Kaiba better in the original animated Yu-Gi-Oh! series.
Tou Thao
Tou Thao likes Starter Deck: Yugi Reloaded better and thinks Yugi is a better character than Kaiba in the animated Yu-Gi-Oh! series. Nevertheless, he received Starter Deck: Kaiba Reloaded at the start of the tournament.
“Yugi’s Deck is more versatile and way more balanced than Kaiba’s Deck. Kaiba is pretty aggressive.”
Hal Nguyen
Hal Nguyen received Starter Deck: Yugi Reloaded at the start of the tournament, and thinks that Yugi’s Deck is stronger than Kaiba’s.
“I think it’s faster and it has a million ways to bring out the Dark Magician.”
In spite of this, Hal Nguyen says that Kaiba is the better character in the animated Yu-Gi-Oh! series.
Shawn Rai
Shawn Rai thinks that Kaiba’s Deck is stronger than Yugi’s.
“It fits my style more because it’s a more aggressive Deck.”
Rai randomly got Starter Deck: Yugi Reloaded at the start of the tournament, even though he’s a big fan of Kaiba in the original animated Yu-Gi-Oh! series.
Ned Salkovitch
Ned Salkovitch believes Starter Deck: Kaiba Reloaded is stronger than Starter Deck: Yugi Reloaded, and is consequently happy to have received Starter Deck: Kaiba Reloaded at the start of the tournament.
“Kaiba’s Deck has bigger monsters than Yugi’s Deck.”
Salkovitch is also a big fan of Seto Kaiba.
“He’s rich!’
Opinions are split as to whether Yugi or Kaiba has the advantage in this tournament; nevertheless, 4 Duelists are representing Yugi, and 4 are representing Kaiba. Only one Duelist can emerge as the King of Games in our first Starter Deck Yugi and Kaiba Reloaded Tournament of the weekend!
