Florida’s Michael Sanders is Dueling against Harrisburg, Pennsylvania’s Brayden Wills in this Round 7 Feature Match! Sanders has been using Scraps since they were first released in Duelist Revolution, and has recently powered up his Deck with 3 copies of Scrap Factory from Primal Origin. His opponent, Brayden Wills, is unfamiliar with the Scrap strategy, and is relying on Madolches to overwhelm his opponents this weekend. Will Michael Sanders be able to use the element of surprise to take the advantage over Brayden Wills? We’re about to find out. It’s time to Duel!

Duel One

Wills started off Duel 1 by Setting 3 cards to his back row and Summoning Cardcar D. He Tributed it to draw 2 cards and end his turn.

Sanders opened up with Soul Charge, Scrap Chimera, Scrap Golem, Mystical Space Typhoon, Scrap Orthos, and Scrapyard. He activated Scrapyard to add Scrap Goblin from his Deck to his hand and then Set Scrap Goblin and Mystical Space Typhoon.

Wills activated Madolche Ticket and then Summoned Madolche Mewfeuille. He activated its effect to Special Summon Madolche Messengelato from his hand and grab Madolche Chateau from his Deck with Messengelato’s effect. He activated the Chateau and then attacked Sanders’s face-down Scrap Goblin with Mewfeuille. It survived the battle, and Messengelato attacked it next. At the end of the Battle Phase, Scrap Goblin destroyed itself with its effect.

Sanders drew Black Horn of Heaven. He Summoned Scrap Chimera and activated its effect. Wills Chained Vanity’s Emptiness to try to stop it; but Sanders Chained Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Vanity’s Emptiness. Sanders Special Summoned Scrap Goblin to the field and then Wills flipped Compulsory Evacuation Device to return the Goblin to Sanders’s hand. Sanders Special Summoned Scrap Orthros next, and used its effect to destroy his Chimera. He activated Soul Charge next, paying 1000 Life Points to Special Summon Scrap Chimera back from his Graveyard. He combined his Chimera with his Orthros to Xyz Summon Evilswarm Exciton Knight and used its effect to clear the field! He Set Black Horn of Heaven before ending his turn.

Wills Set a back row and Summoned Cardcar D. He Tributed it to draw 2 cards and then end his turn.

Sanders drew Scrap Beast and Summoned it. He attacked directly with Scrap Beast and Evilswarm Exciton Knight to drop Wills down to 4500 Life Points.

Wills Summoned Messengelato and then Set 2 cards to his back row.

Sanders Tributed Scrap Beast to Tribute Summon Scrap Golem in Attack Position and then activated its effect to try to Special Summon Scrap Orthros; but Wills flipped Breakthrough Skill to negate its effect. Next, Scrap Golem attacked Messengelato to try to destroy it, and Wills flipped Dimensional Prison to banish the Golem. Evilswarm Exciton Knight attacked and destroyed Messengelato, dropping Wills down to 4200 Life Points.

Wills Summoned Madolche Hootcake next turn. He used its effect to banish Cardcar D from his Graveyard and Special Summon Madolche Anjelly from his Deck, and then Tributed Anjelly to Special Summon Madolche Puddingcess from his Deck. Puddingcess attacked Evilswarm Exciton Knight, and Sanders lost 900 Life Points. Puddingcess wasn’t destroyed in the battle since she was Special Summoned by Madolche Anjelly, and she destroyed Evilswarm Exciton Knight with her effect after damage calculation. Hootcake attacked directly next.

Sanders Set Scrap Goblin and passed.

Wills banished Cardcar D from his Graveyard to Special Summon Messengelato from his Deck with Hootcake’s effect and then added Madolche Ticket to his hand with Messengelato’s effect. He Normal Summoned Madolche Magileine next, and used its effect to add Anjelly to his hand. He combined Magileine with Messengelato to Xyz Summon Madolche Queen Tiaramisu. Sanders tried to negate its Summon with Black Horn of Heaven, and Wills used Wiretap to negate it and shuffle it back into Sanders’s Deck. Next, he used Tiaramisu’s effect to send his Anjelly and Chateau from his Graveyard to his Deck and Sanders’s face-down monster back to the Deck. He used the effect of his Ticket to Special Summon Messengelato from his Deck (since he had a Fariy Madolche monster on the field) and then used Messengelato’s effect to add Chateau to his hand. He activated Chateau and then direct attacks from Tiaramisu, Hootcake, Puddingcess, and Messengelato finished Sanders off!

Despite Sanders’s best efforts to come back from behind by using the effect of Evilswarm Exciton Knight, Brayden Wills wins the first Duel with his Madolche cards! Michael Sanders will be going first in Duel 2!

Duel Two

Sanders opened up Duel 2 with Scrap Chimera, Scrapstorm, Divine Wrath, Maxx “C”, Mystical Space Typhoon, and Scrap Orthros. He Set Mystical Space Typhoon and Divine Wrath before ending his turn.

Wills Summoned Madolche Magileine and activated its effect to add Madolche Anjelly from his Deck to his hand. He attacked directly with Magileine and then Set 4 cards to his back row.

Sanders drew Redox, Dragon Ruler of Boulders and then Summoned Scrap Chimera. He Special Summoned Scrap Orthros targeting itself for destruction and then Chained Scrapstorm, targeting Orthros. He sent Scrap Chimera from his Deck to his Graveyard, drew a card, and then destroyed Orthros with Scrapstorm. He used Orthros’s effect to add Scrap Chimera from his Graveyard to his hand. Sanders attacked Magileine with his Scrap Chimera to destroy it, and Wills shuffled Magileine back into his Deck.

Wills Summoned Madolche Anjelly and Tributed it to activate its effect. Sanders Chained Maxx “C” to draw a card when Wills Special Summoned Puddingcess from his Deck with the effect of Anjelly. Wills attacked Scrap Chimera with Puddingcess. He lost 700 Life Points and then destroyed Scrap Chimera with the effect of Puddingcess. Wills Set a card to his back row before ending his turn.

Sanders activated Scrap Factory! He Summoned Scrap Chimera and activated its effect to try to Special Summon Scrap Orthros from his Graveyard; but Wills Chained Breakthrough Skill to negate its effect! Next, Sanders discarded Redox and Scrap Beast from his hand to activate Redox’s effect and Special Summon Scrap Orthros from his Graveyard. He Tuned Scrap Orthros with Scrap Chimera to try to Synchro Summon Scrap Dragon; but Wills flipped Black Horn of Heaven and negated its Summon. Sanders Special Summoned Scrap Orthros from his Graveyard with the effect of Scrap Dragon when Scrap Dragon was destroyed. He attacked Puddingcess with Orthros, and Wills flipped Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Scrap Factory. Wills lost 700 Life Points in the battle, and Puddingcess targeted Sanders’s face-down Divine Wrath for destruction. Sanders Chained it by discarding Bottomless Trap Hole, destroying Puddingcess and forcing Wills to shuffle Puddingcess back into his Deck.

Wills Summoned Madolche Hootcake next turn! He banished Anjelly from his Graveyard to Special Summon Messengelato from his Deck and added Madolche Ticket to his hand with Messengelato’s effect. Next, he flipped Madolchepalooza to Special Summon Anjelly from his hand. He combined Anjelly with Messengelato to Xyz Summon Madolche Queen Tiaramisu and then detached an Xyz Material from it to target 2 Madolches in his Graveyard. Sanders Chained Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Wills’s face-down Wiretap; then Wills shuffled 2 Madolches from his Graveyard back into his Deck, and Sanders shuffled his on-field monster back into his Deck. Wills Special Summoned Messengelato from his Deck with and then added Chateau to his hand with the effect of Messengelato. Direct attacks from Messengelato, Hootcake, and Tiaramisu wiped out Sanders’ last 6600 Life Points!

Brayden Wills is moving on 6-1 with Madolches, but Michael Sanders is still alive in the tournament with a 5-2 record using his Scrap Deck!
