YCS First Timer QQ
Between rounds of YCS Anaheim , we scoured the floors for any first timers to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series and found a couple. We asked them some general questions about themselves, the game, the event, and gave them a chance to be a part of the coverage!
Ben Namvar is a 12 year old duelist from Los Angeles, California. He is running Fire Kings in the main event, and he thinks Fire King High Avatar Garunix is awesome. Even though that’s his favorite Monster from his Deck, the almighty Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon is his favorite Monster. When asked what he thought about the event, he said that the event was really big and would probably take really long, but it’s a lot of fun!
Alex Carrillo lives about 15 minutes away from the convention center in Santa Ana, California, and is 21 years old. He decided to play Shaddolls today because he thinks it’s the best Deck, but when asked what his favorite card was he through us for a loop and said Inzektor Centipede! “It is a really nice event and I didn’t expect such a big friendly atmosphere.”
