Duelists are gearing up for the first YCS of 2015 to begin! 799 Duelists have registered thus far, and the landscape of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME tournament scene is about to be altered once more!

Burning Abyss, Qliphort, Shaddoll, and Tellarknight Decks have been popular choices for tournaments lately, and the continued success of these Decks is anticipated. The recent release of Secrets of Eternity has bolstered the strength of these Decks by adding new support to each of these themes in the form of cards like Farfa, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss, Qliphort Monolith, Nephe Shaddoll Fusion, and Stellarknight Constellar Diamond.

New heroes will also be emerging this weekend: the masked HERO monsters, introduced by Structure Deck: HERO’s Strike! It remains to be seen whether or not dedicated HERO Decks will emerge as a top contender this weekend. Regardless, we can expect to see many of the previously popular Decks build an alliance with the mysterious Masked HERO monsters thanks to Mask Change II! Masked HERO Dark Law and Masked HERO Koga are expected to make lots of surprise appearances in DARK and LIGHT Decks this weekend to finish off some Duels!
