Tech Update: What Warrior Do You Choose?
One aspect of the Nekroz Deck that makes it so powerful is Djinn Releaser of Rituals locking the opponent out of Special Summons; it is important to have ways to remove a Ritual Monster Summoned using Djinn Releaser of Rituals from the Field if Special Summoning is part of your game plan. Duelists use Reinforcement of the Army as a tool to help them find a Warrior that can handle the situation, especially Nekroz Duelists, but there are several options to choose from so what do you pick?
Bull Blader
Probably the most popular choice in the room, Bull Blader provides destruction while leaving you with a Monster to Xyz Summon with after. Being able to follow up removing an opposing Ritual Monster Summoned using Djinn Releaser of Rituals with a Lavalval Chain of your own to Set up a similar play of your own is pretty awesome, or just being able to Xyz Summon any Rank 4 in general.
Cameraclops
Similar to Bull Blader in functionality, Cameraclops offers destruction without needing to enter Damage Calculation, meaning that if it battles an Attack Position Monster it won’t be Destroyed! The cons to this upside are that it only works against Monsters that have a higher DEF than its ATK, but with Nekroz of Clausolas being the default Ritual Monster Summoned using Djinn Releaser of Rituals.
D.D. Warrior Lady
Where Bull Blader and Cameraclops destroy opposing Monsters, D.D. Warrior Lady banishes instead getting around Nekroz of Gungnir and also allowing Duelists to efficiently deal with Monsters that use Graveyard effects such as El Shaddoll Anoyatyllis. However, you do not get to keep the Monster around so in that way it is weaker than both Bull Blader and Cameraclops.
Exiled Force
The final popular choice among Duelists has been Exiled Force, primarily because you do not have to conduct your Battle Phase in order to get rid of a Monster. This is huge because Nekroz Duelists typically search Nekroz of Valkyrus in order to protect their Ritual Monster from the more popular Warriors. However, with this upside comes the drawback of both Nekroz of Gungnir and Nekroz of Trishula effectively rendering Exiled Force useless.
So which Warrior will reign supreme? Duelists have a ton of options at their disposal but we can only wait and see!
