One of the last Duels of the weekend is the Dragon Duel Champion Playoff Match. Both of these Duelist won one of the Dragon Duel Championships, either yesterdays or todays. Now they’re facing off in one final battle to find out who’s the strongest!

 

Wilkin won the die roll and opted to go first. He Set three backrow and a monster before passing.

 

Yu drew Vanity’s Emptiness, Reinforcement of the Army, Torrential Tribute, two Fiendish Chain, and Dark Hole. He played Reinforcement of the Army for Satellarknight Deneb and then Normal Summoned it to search Satellarknight Altair. He Set all his traps except Vanity’s Emptiness and passed.

 

Wilkin used Upstart Goblin and Set a monster.

 

Yu drew Satellarknight Altair. He passed.

 

Wilkin Set a backrow and Flip Summoned Shaddoll Squamata, but it was met with a Fiendish Chain.

 

Yu drew Satellarknight Rigel. He thought for a moment before Settling on Normal Summoning it, passing on the effect. It attacked Shaddoll Squamata and Wilkin chained Ring of Destruction on Satellarknight Rigel. He passed after that.

 

Wilkin Set a third monster. He Flip Summoned Shaddoll Dragon and targeted Satellarknight Deneb, but was met with another Fiendish Chain by Yu. He Xyz Summoned Gagaga Cowboy in defense position, and detached Dragon to inflict 800 damage to Yu.

 

Yu drew Reinforcement of the Army. He Normal Summoned Satellarknight Altair but was stopped by Wilkin’s Vanity’s Emptiness. He then used Reinforcement of the Army to grab Satellarknight Vega. He passed.

 

Wilkin detached another material to drop Yu to 5500. Then he passed.

 

Yu drew Mind Crush. He activated Dark Hole to clear the entire field, and all the monsters were destroyed, including Wilkin’s face-down Shaddoll Falco. Yu then Normal Summoned Satellarknight Vega and Special Summoned Satellarknight Altair, which then brought back Satellarknight Deneb. That searched out Satellarknight Altair. He Xyz Summoned Stellarknight Delteros, and was met by Solemn Warning. He Set Mind Crush and ended.

 

Wilkin activated Mystical Space Typhoon and destroyed Yu’s Torrential Tribute. Then he passed.

 

Yu drew Satellarknight Deneb. He Normal Summoned Satellarknight Altair but was prevented from using its effect due to Fiendish Chain! Yu passed.

 

Wilkin Set a monster and passed.

 

Yu drew Thunder King Rai-Oh. He Normal Summoned Satellarknight Deneb to add Satellarknight Alsahm. He then ended his turn.

 

Wilkin Set a monster and ended his turn.

 

Yu drew Raigeki. He Normal Summoned Satellarknight Alsahm to inflict 1000 damage. He Xyz Summoned Stellarknight Triverr and bounced everything back to the hands! That reSet two of Yu’s Fiendish Chains. Triverr attacked for 2100 and Yu Set four backrow. Triverr detached Satellarknight Altair to discard Fiendish Chain out of Wilkin’s hand.

Yu drew Solemn Warning. He Set it, and then Normal Summoned Thunder King Rai-Oh. It attacked Shaddoll Falco, which allowed Wilkin to Set Shaddoll Dragon. Triverr attacked into it and the Dragon’s effect bounced Triverr back to the Extra Deck. Yu activated Mind Crush in Main Phase 2 and called Shaddoll Falco, hitting a copy out of Wilkin’s hand!

 

Wilkin used Upstart Goblin. He Set a monster.

 

Yu drew Reinforcement of the Army. He used Raigeki to destroy Shaddoll Hedgehog, and then attacked with Thunder King Rai-Oh but was stopped by Shaddoll Core. He Fiendish Chained his Thunder King Rai-Oh and then used Reinforcement of the Army to add Satellarknight Deneb. He Normal Summoned it to add Satellarknight Unukalhai to his hand. Then he Xyz Summoned Tellarknight Ptolemaeus, and then went into Stellarknight Constellar Diamond. That ended his turn.

 

Wilkin passed.

 

Yu drew Stellarnova Alpha. He Normal Summoned Satellarknight Unukalhai, Set the Stellarnova Alpha, and attacked over Shaddoll Core with Stellarknight Constellar Diamond, then attacked for 1800 directly. In Main Phase 2 he used Vanity’s Emptiness.

 

 

Wilkins drew and conceded, locked out of the game by Stellarknight Constellar Diamond and Vanity’s Emptiness.

 

Wilkins decided to go first in the next game. He Set two backrow and activated Shaddoll Fusion. He sent Maxx “C” and Shaddoll Hedgehog to Fusion Summon El Shaddoll Shekhinaga. Shaddoll Hedgehog added Shaddoll Beast.

 

Yu opened with Bottomless Trap Hole, Mystical Space Typhoon, Soul Charge, Reinforcement of the Army, Fiendish Chain, and Satellarknight Altair. He Set his two traps and then played Reinforcement of the Army to add Satellarknight Deneb to his hand, and then Normal Summoned it, but it was banished by Bottomless Trap Hole. Yu added Satellarknight Rigel to his hand. He then used Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Wilkin’s Shaddoll Core, and when it was destroyed he added Shaddoll Fusion back to his hand.

 

Wilkins Set a backrow. He passed.

 

Yu drew Honest. He used Fiendish Chain on Shekhinaga and then Normal Summoned Satellarknight Rigel. He then passed.

 

Wilkins used Shaddoll Fusion sending Shaddoll Beast and Shaddoll Hedgehog to the grave to Fusion Summon El Shaddoll Winda, and Yu activated Bottomless Trap Hole. It stayed on the field through its protection ability, though, and then Wilkins drew a card before adding Shaddoll Squamata to his hand. El Shaddoll Winda attacked Rigel, and Yu activated Honest! He added Shaddoll Fusion back to his hand.

 

Yu drew Satellarknight Deneb. He Normal Summoned it and added Satellarknight Vega. Then he passed.

 

Wilkins used Shaddoll Fusion sending Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the Beginning and Shaddoll Squamata to Fusion Summon El Shaddoll Construct. He sent Shaddoll Falco and Shaddoll Beast. He Special Summoned Shaddoll Falco face-down and then drew a card from Beast. Then, he Set a backrow before passing.

 

Yu drew Stellarnova Alpha. He Set it and Normal Summoned Satellarknight Vega to Special Summon Satellarknight Altair from his hand. He Xyz Summoned Stellarknight Triverr and Wilkins used Ring of Destruction to destroy it. Both players took 2100 damage and then all the cards on the field were bounce back to the hand. He Special Summoned Satellarknight Altair from his grave, and that brought back Satellarknight Vega. He Set his two traps and attacked for 1700.

 

Wilkins Set a monster and then used Upstart Goblin. He Set a backrow and passed.

 

Yu drew Raigeki. He Normal Summoned Satellarknight Rigel and switched Satellarknight Vega to attack. Then he used Raigeki to destroy Shaddoll Falco, but when its effect activated Yu used Stellarnova Alpha tributing Satellarknight Vega to negate it. Satellarknight Altair attacked, and when Rigel attacked Wilkins used Book of Moon to stop it.

 

Wilkins used El Shaddoll Fusion to Fusion Summon El Shaddoll Construct using Shaddoll Falco and Effect Veiler. Yu used Fiendish Chain on the El Shaddoll Construct and Shaddoll Falco hit the boarad.

 

Yu drew Vanity’s Emptiness. He used Soul Charge to bring back Satellarknight Vega and Satellarknight Deneb. He Xyz Summoned Gagaga Cowboy and that was enough to seal the deal! Ryan Yu wins a sweet Trophy and a play set of Darklord Prize Cards.
