Fraizer Smith traveled here from Philadelphia and is using his Nekroz Deck featuring a Performage engine to make easy Rank 4’s and give himself easy tributes with Nekroz of Valkyrus. His opponent is Eric Polk using his Kozmo Deck made possible by Clash of Rebellions. This matchup is sure to feature a ton of new cards and it’ll be awesome to see what combos are execute. Smith won the die roll and opted to go second.

 

Polk Set one backrow card and Normal Summoned Kozmo Goodwitch. He passed.

 

 

Smith opened Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands, Senju of the Thousand Hands, Nekroz Mirror, Performage Hat Trick, and Nekroz of Clausolas. He drew Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands. He started off by Normal Summoning Senju of the Thousand Hands to add Nekroz of Unicore. Then he discarded Nekroz of Clausolas to add Nekroz Kaleidoscope, which he activated. Polk responded with Mind Crush calling Nekroz of Unicore, and it was discarded, nullifying the Ritual Summon attempt. He then Special Summoned Hat Tricker and Xyz Summoned Number 101: Silent Honor ARK. It attacked Goodwitch and Polk used its effect to Special Summon Kozmo Forerunner. Smith passed.

 

Polk gained 1000 Life Points in the Standby Phase due to Forerunner’s effect. He entered his Battle Phase and attacked Number 101: Silent Honor ARK, which detached a material to survive. Polk Set a backrow and passed.

 

Smith drew Nekroz of Unicore. He Normal Summoned Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands and was met with Breakthrough Skill. He then ended his turn.

 

Polk drew and gained another 1000 Life Points. He Set a backrow and attacked Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands with Kozmo Forerunner.

 

Smith drew Nekroz of Valkyrus. He Normal Summoned Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands and searched Nekroz of Brionac, which was used to search Nekroz of Clausolas which was used to add Nekroz Kaleidoscope. Smith activated it and send Herald of the Arc Light to Ritual Summon Nekroz of Unicore. He added Nekroz of Trishula. He then Xyz Summoned Diamond Dire Wolf, and Volk used Torrential Tribute. Silent Honor ARK survived by detaching a material and Volk brought out Kozmo Farmgirl with Forerunner. Smith activated Nekroz Mirror to bring out Nekroz of Trishula by banishing Nekroz of Brionac and Nekroz of Clausolas. Nekroz of Trishula banished the Breakthrough Skill in grave and the rest of Volk’s cards, leaving him with nothing. Both monsters attacked directly.

 

 

Volk used Dark Hole and ended.

 

Smith drew Nekroz Mirror. He banished two different Ritual Spells to search out two Nekroz Cycle. He activated Nekroz Mirror to Ritual Summon Nekroz of Valkyrus and attack directly.

 

Volk drew, Set a backrow, and ended.

 

Smith tributed Performage Damage Juggler to draw a Senju of the Thousand Hands using Nekroz of Valkyrus. He then entered his Battle Phase and Volk conceded.

 

 

Smith went first and opened two Nekroz of Clausolas, Foolish Burial, Nekroz Kaleidoscope, and Nekroz of Trishula. He discarded Nekroz of Clausolas to add Nekroz Cycle to his hand. Then he sent Performage Damage Juggler to the grave with Foolish Burial. He banished Damage Juggler to search Performage Trick Clown. He Set it in face-down defense position and ended his turn.

 

Volk Normal Summoned Kozmo Farmgirl and attacked over the Trick Clown. Smith brought it back and took 1000 damage, then Volk used Emergency Teleport to Special Summon another Farmgirl. He banished the first Farmgirl for Kozmo Sliprider and attacked over Trick Clown. Kozmo Farmgirl attacked directly for 1500 and Volk paid 500 to add Kozmotown to his hand. In Main Phase 2 he played Kozmotown and returned Kozmo Farmgirl to his hand, taking 300 Life Points. He Set a backrow and Farmgirl was banished in the End Phase.

 

Smith drew Nekroz of Unicore. He activated Nekroz Kaleidoscope and searched Nekroz of Brionac with the sent Herald of the Arc Light. He discarded it to search Shurit, Strategist of Nekroz. Next, he activated Nekroz Cycle, tributing Shurit, Strategist of Nekroz to bring back Nekroz of Brionac. Shurit, Strategist of Nekroz added a second copy of Nekroz of Brionac. He then discard Nekroz of Clausolas to add Nekroz Mirror to his hand, which he used to Ritual Summon Nekroz of Trishula. Its effect was stopped by Breakthrough Skill, though, so Smith moved on to his Battle Phase. Nekroz of Trishula attacked over Kozmo Sliprider and it banished itself to Special Summon Kozmo Farmgirl. Nekroz of Unicore attacked Farmgirl and Volk discarded Honest to buff its attack! He added Kozmo Forerunner to his hand by paying 500 Life Points. Smith passed.

 

Volk started off with Raigeki and Smith scooped up his cards. Going into Game 3 Smith decided to go second. Volk Normal Summoned Kozmo Farmgirl, Set a backrow, and ended.

 

Smith opened Nekroz Cycle, two Nekroz of Valkyrus, Nekroz Kaleidoscope, Senju of the Thousand Hands, and Mystical Space Typhoon. He played the latter and destroyed Volk’s Mind Crush. Next he Normal Summoned Senju of the Thousand Hands and added Nekroz of Unicore. He then used Nekroz Kaleidoscope to Ritual Summon Nekroz of Unicore and triggered Herald of the Arc Light to add Nekroz of Brionac. He then Xyz Summoned Diamond Dire Wolf, and when it used its effect Volk chained Farmgirl to Special Summon Kozmo Forerunner. Smith banished a Ritual Spell to add Nekroz Mirror, and then discarded Nekroz of Brionac to add Shurit, Strategist of Nekroz to his hand. He then activated Nekroz Cycle to Ritual Summon Nekroz of Brionac discarded Shurit, Strategist of Nekroz, which then got a Nekroz of Trishula. Smith used Nekroz Mirror to Ritual Summon Nekroz of Trishula but was met with Effect Veiler. He passed.

 

Volk drew and gained 1000 Life Points. He attacked Nekroz of Brionac with Kozmo Forerunner. In Main Phase 2 he Set a backrow and ended.

 

Smith drew Ice Hand. He passed with no further actions.

 

Volk drew and gained 1000 Life Points. He attacked Nekroz of Trishula and Set a backrow before passing.

 

Smith drew Senju of the Thousand Hands. He banished a Ritual Spell to search out Nekroz Kaleidoscope. Volk used Mind Crush to discard it, and then Smith banished Nekroz Mirror to add another copy of it to his hand. He Set the Ice Hand and passed.

 

Volk activated Kozmotown after gaining 1000 Life Points and used its effect to add Kozmo Farmgirl to his hand. He then Normal Summoned Kozmo Farmgirl attacked over Ice Hand with Kozmo Forerunner. It destroyed a face-down Solemn Warning and Fire Hand was Special Summoned. Farmgirl attacked over Fire Hand which destroyed the Farmgirl. A second Ice Hand was brought to the field in defense position.

 

Smith drew Fire Hand. He Normal Summoned Senju of the Thousand Hands and searched Nekroz of Brionac, which searched Nekroz of Unicore. He then discarded the Nekroz of Unicore to add back Nekroz of Brionac. Smith passed.

 

Volk gained 1000 Life Points. He used Kozmotown revealing two Kozmo Sliprider to draw two. Kozmo Forerunner attacked Senju of the Thousand Hands but Smith used Nekroz of Valkyrus to stop it.

 

Smith drew Nekroz of Gungnir. He Normal Summoned Fire Hand and pitched Nekroz of Brionac to add Nekroz of Unicore, and then discarded it to add back the Nekroz of Brionac. He then used Nekroz Mirror banishing two Nekroz of Unicore to Ritual Summon Nekroz of Valkyrus. He overlaid all three of his monsters for Number 104: Masquerade. Nekroz of Valkyrus attacked over Forerunner and Number 104: Masquerade negated its attempted effect. It then attacked directly, dropping Volk to 8100 Life Points. Smith passed.

 

Volk shuffled back Kozmo Goodwitch with Kozmotown to draw one card. He then Normal Summoned Goodwitch and banished it to Special Summon Kozmo Forerunner. It attacked over Number 104: Masquerade. He used Kozmotown in Main Phase 2 to add back the Goodwitch and then Set a card before passing.

 

Smith drew Nekroz of Clausolas. He discarded Nekroz of Clausolas to add Nekroz Cycle to his hand. Volk hit it with a Mind Crush, though, and Fraizer seemed to be running low on options. He discarded Nekroz of Brionac to add Great Sorcerer of the Nekroz to his hand. He Normal Summoned it and attacked over Kozmo Forerunner with Nekroz of Valkyrus. It brought out Kozmo Sliprider, and in Main Phase 2 Smith used Nekroz of Valkyrus tributing Great Sorcerer to draw Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands. He then searched out Nekroz of Valkyrus. He passed.

 

Volk activated Kozmotown to add back Forerunner. He Normal Summoned Kozmo Goodwitch and used its effect to turn Nekroz of Valkyrus face-down. It attacked Nekroz of Valkyrus and then attacked directly with Sliprider. He then banished Goodwitch to Special Summon Kozmo Forerunner, and when it attacked Smith discarded Nekroz of Valkyrus banishing Great Sorcerer of the Nekroz. He then sent an Exa of the Nekroz from his Deck to the Graveyard.

 

Smith drew Senju of the Thousand Hands. He Normal Summoned it, checked his Deck, and extended the handshake.
