Duel One

Puente opened up with Kozmoll Wickedwitch, Solemn Warning, Kozmo Forerunner, Kozmo Dark Destroyer, and Call of the Haunted.

Puente

He Summoned Wickedwitch and banished it to Special Summon Kozmo Dark Destroyer from his hand. He used Kozmo Dark Destroyer’s effect to make it destroy itself, and then banished it from his Graveyard to Special Summon Kozmo Strawman from his Deck in Defense Position. Next, he paid 500 Life Points to activate Strawman’s effect and Special Summon Dark Destroyer back to his field. He Set Call of the Haunted and Solemn Warning, and then destroyed Dark Destroyer in his End Phase. He banished his Dark Destroyer to Special Summon Kozmo Tincan from his Deck in Defense Position. He activated Tincan’s effect and gave up 500 Life Points to select Kozmo Dark Destroyer, Kozmo DOG Fighter, and Kozmo Sliprider from his Deck and add the DOG Fighter to his hand at random. Dark Destroyer and Sliprider were sent to the Graveyard.

Truong drew a card and Puente banished Tincan from his field in Truong’s Standby Phase in order to Special Summon Kozmo DOG Fighter from his hand in Defense Position. He Special Summoned a DOG Fighter Token with 2000 ATK and 2400 DEF with DOG Fighter’s effect. Truong activated Upstart Goblin in his Main Phase to draw a card and give Puente 1000 Life Points. Next, he Summoned Performapal Skullcrobat Joker and activated its effect to add Performapal Lizardraw from his Deck to his hand. He placed Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer and Performapal Lizardraw in his Pendulum Zones and then attempted a Pendulum Summon of Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer and Master Pendulum, the Dracoslayer; but Puente flipped Solemn Warning and paid 2000 Life Points to negate the Summon and send them to the Graveyard! Truong used Lizardraw’s effect to destroy it and draw a card, and then play passed to Puente.

Puente Special Summoned another Token in his Standby Phase and then switched all of his monsters into Attack Position. He activated Strawman’s effect to Special Summon Kozmo Dark Destroyer from his Banished Zone in Attack Position and then attacked Skullcrobat Joker with a Token to destroy it. Direct attacks from the remaining Token, DOG Fighter, Strawman, and Kozmo Dark Destroyer dropped Truong down to 300 Life Points. Puente banished Strawman from his field to activate its effect and Special Summon Forerunner from his hand, and then a direct attack from Forerunner finished Truong off!

He placed it in his Pendulum Zone and then activated Guiding Ariadne in his Pendulum Zone. He used Luster Pendulum to destroy Guiding Ariadne and added another Ariadne to his hand. He revealed Solemn Warning and 2 copies of Chaos Trap Hole from his Deck with Ariadne’s effect, and Puente chose the Chaos Trap Hole to add to Truong’s hand. Next, Truong activated the Ariadne in his Pendulum Zone and activated Wavering Eyes! He destroyed Guiding Ariadne and Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer and added Performapal Skullcrobat Joker from his Deck to his hand after dealing 500 points of damage to Puente. He Summoned Tincan to the field, and Truong paid 2000 Life Points to negate its Summon and banish it with Chaos Trap Hole. Next, he Set 2 copies of Kozmojo and entered his End Phase. He activated Emergency Teleport to Summon Kozmo Tincan and activated its effect, but lost out to Truong’s Solemn Strike. Next, Truong placed Lizardraw in his Pendulum Zone, and Pendulum Summoned Archfiend Eccentrick and Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer from his Extra Deck, and Master Pendulum, the Dracoslayer and Performapal Silver Claw from his hand. He Tuned Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer with Silver Claw to Synchro Summon Ignister Prominence, the Blasting Dracoslayer and then used its effect to Special Summon Master Pendulum from his Deck. He activated Lizardraw’s effect to draw a card, and then activated the effect of Ignister Prominence to destroy Monkeyboard and shuffle Wickedwitch back into Puente’s Deck. Next, Truong combined Vector with Master Pendulum to Xyz Summon Majester Paladin, the Ascending Dracoslayer, and detached an Xyz Material from it to Special Summon Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer from his Extra Deck. Then, he used Dinoster’s effect to Special Summon Master Pendulum from his Graveyard. He activated Ignister Prominence’s effect to destroy the Master Pendulum and return Forerunner to Puente’s Deck.
