Game 1

Zaman Special Summoned Speedroid Terrortop, then Special Summoned Speedorid Taketomborg, then Xyz Summoned Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss. He detached and sent The Phantom Knights of Ragged Gloves, The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots and Phantom Knights’ Fog Blade. He then Normal Summoned Tour Guide From the Underworld, and Special Summoned Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss. The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots and The Phantom Knights of Ragged Gloves were banished to add another Silent Boots and a Fog Blade. Allure of Darkness came down next, drawing 2 and banishing Silent Boots. Tour Guide and Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss combined for another Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss, detaching Tour Guide, sending Farfa, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss, Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss and Maxx “C”. Calcab, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss was discarded to upgrade the first Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss into Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal. Then the second Dante was used to Summon another Beatrice, with Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss being the discard. In the End Phase, Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss searched out Rubic, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss.

Lau started off with Performapal Lizardraw, Master Pendulum, the Dracoslayer, Upstart Goblin, Performapal Secondonkey, Draco Face-Off and Pendulum Rising. Draco Face-Off was first, revealing Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer and Lector Pendulum the Dracoverlord. Lector was placed in the Pendulum Zone with Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer going to the Extra Deck. Master Pendulum, the Dracoslayer joined it and Secondonkey was Normal Summoned, adding Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer from Deck to hand. Pendulum Rising came down next, sending Secondonkey to the Graveyard to Special Summon Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer from the Deck. Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer activated, targeting Lau’s scales but Zaman chained Phantom Knights’ Fog Blade to negate its effect. Upstart Goblin came down next, giving Lau another draw. Next, Lau Pendulum Summoned Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer and Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer. Zaman then activated one of his Beatrices, sending Farfa, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss which in turn banished Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer until the end of this turn. Lau pressed on by using his two Sorcerer’s to Xyz Summon Abyss Dweller. Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer came back to the field in the End Phase.

In Zaman’s Draw Phase, Lau activated Abyss Dweller to prevent all Graveyard effects this turn. Zaman simply attacked with both Beatrices, clearing Lau’s field.

Lau Normal Summoned Armageddon Knight, sending Blackwing – Zephyros the Elite to the Graveyard. Zephyros activated, returning Lector Pendulum from the Pendulum Zone to the hand, with Lau taking 400 damage and the Blackwing being Special Summoned. Zaman activated a Beatrice, detaching a Dante to send another Farfa to banish Zephyros. Dante’s effect added back Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss. Lau pressed on by activating Performapal Lizardraw and then Pendulum Summoned Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer and Lector. Next, Lector and Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer were tuned to Synchro Summon Ignister Prominence, the Blasting Dracoslayer. Zaman used the second Beatrice to send Alich, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss negating Ignister for a turn. Lau passed at this point.

Zaman detached the last Xyz Material from Beatrice to send Libic, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss Special Summoning Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss from the hand with its effects negated. Phantom Knights’ Fog Blade was banished form the Graveyard to Special Summon The Phantom Knights of Ancient Cloak, which was combined with Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss to Xyz Summon Leviair the Sea Dragon. Speedroid Terrortop was Normal Summoned, Leviair Special Summoned a The Phantom Knights of Ragged Gloves and it was combined with Terrortop to Xyz Summon The Phantom Knights of Break Sword. The powered up The Phantom Knights of Break Sword attacked over Ignister, and the rest of Zaman’s monsters cleared Lau’s field to bring him down to 3000 to Zaman’s 9000 LP. In Main Phase 2, Foolish Burial came down sending The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots to the Graveyard which was banished to add Fog Blade. Fog Blade was set and Zaman passed.

Lau drew and it wasn’t an out to the field so he conceded the first game.

Game 2

Lau elected for Zaman to start.

Zaman started by Special Summoning Speedroid Terrortop which was used to add Speedroid Taketomborg from Deck to hand, then that was Special Summoned, then both monsters were combined to Xyz Summon Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss in Defense position. A Xyz Material was detached to send Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss, Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss and Twin Twisters to the Graveyard. Zaman then Normal Summoned a The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots and Special Summoned another one, Xyz Summoned another Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss, sending another 3 cards, setting 2 before getting a Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss from Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss.

Lau opened up with Twin Twisters, discarding Blackwing – Zephyros the Elite, destroying 2 copies of Phantom Knights’ Fog Blade. Instant Fusion came down next, Special Summoning Elder Entity Norden which then Special Summoned Zephyros, Xyz Summoning King of the Feral Imps, which detached Zephryos for its effect but Zaman responded with Effect Veiler to negate stop the search! Lau activated a Master Pendulum, the Dracoslayer then Zephyros then Special Summoned itself by bouncing back the Master Pendulum, the Dracoslayer from the Pendulum Zone. Performapal Guitartle and Master Pendulum, the Dracoslayer were placed in the Pendulum Zones, a Master Pendulum, the Dracoslayer was Pendulum Summoned from hand and combined with Zephyros to Xyz Summon Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer which was used to send a Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss back to the Extra Deck.

Zaman drew to 2 cards in hand. Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss used its effect and sent 3 cards to the Graveyard (none of them with Graveyard effects), then Zaman switched Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss to Attack Position and destroyed King of the Feral Imps in battle. In Main Phase 2, Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss was discarded to Rank-Up Dante into Beatrice. Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss Special Summoned Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss which was destroyed, getting Tour Guide From the Underworld in the End Phase.

Lau drew and passed.

Zaman Normal Summoned Tour Guide From the Underworld, and that was enough for Lau to extend the handshake.
