Round 7 Feature Match: Tyler Andrews vs. Anthony King
Ohio’s Tyler Andrews is Dueling against Colorado’s Anthony King in our Round 7 Feature Match! Andrews and King are both currently undefeated with rather unconventional strategies. Andrews is using a Blue-Eyes Deck bolstered by cards from the new Rise of the True Dragons Structure Deck, including Return of the Dragon Lords, Arkbrave Dragon, and Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand. King, on the other hand, is using a Burning Abyss Monarch Deck that mashes together the power of Monarchs with the consistency of a Burning Abyss Deck. Only one of these Duelists will advance to Round 8 with a perfect 7-0 record, and we’re about to find out who it’ll be. It’s time to Duel!

He activated another Dragon Ravine next, replacing his first one, and used its effect to discard Silver’s Cry from his hand and send Divine Dragon Ruler Felgrand from his Deck to his Graveyard. Felgrand banished Ehther from King’s Graveyard to increase its own ATK by 800 with its effect. Next, King banished Pantheism of the Monarchs from his Graveyard to reveal three copies of Tenacity of the Monarchs from his Deck and add one of them to his hand. He activated it by revealing Erebus from his hand and then added The Monarchs Stormforth to his hand with its effect. He banished Return of the Monarchs from his Graveyard to Special Summon The Prime Monarch from his Graveyard, activated The Monarchs Stormforth, and then Tributed The Prime Monarch and Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon to Tribute Summon Erebus the Underworld Monarch. He used Erebus’s effect to send Domain of the True Monarchs and Pantheism from his Deck to his Graveyard and then shuffled Felgrand back into Andrews’s Deck with Erebus’s effect. Erebus attacked directly, and play passed to Andrews.
Andrews drew The White Stone of Ancients and then used Dragon Ravine’s effect to discard it and send another copy of The White Stone of Ancients from his Deck to his Graveyard. He used both of their effects in the End Phase to Special Summon two Blue-Eyes White Dragons from his Deck in Attack Position.
King used the effect of the Pantheism in his Graveyard to add Tenacity from his Deck to his hand and then activated Tenacity to add The Monarchs Stormforth to his hand.
