August 28th, 2016

This is it!  The final Round of Day 1 here at YCS Toronto.  With seven Rounds of competition in the books so far we’re starting to see some cohesive trends, even just two rounds after the free-for-all that was our Round 6 Update.

Extra Deck Monarchs and Burning Abyss Phantom Knights are unsurprisingly the two frontrunners, but we’re seeing some impressive action from Blue-Eyes White Dragon decks as well.  Check it out.

We’ll be back tomorrow for two more Rounds of Swiss competition, leading up to the Top 32 playoff rounds!  Will these trends remain through the rest of the tournament?  Can Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Metalfoes make the Top Cut?  We’ll find out, here at the Metro Toronto Convention Center as Day 2 action plays out.
