Lots of experienced Duelists have gathered in Mexico City this weekend to compete in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series tournament, but not all of this weekend’s competitors are veteran Duelists. Several of them are competing in a YCS tournament for the very first time this weekend! Check out some of our YCS First-Timers!

Armando Plasencia

20-year-old Jorge Armando Plasencia from Guadalajara, Mexico is using a Blue-Eyes Deck this weekend. He’s nervous and excited to be here, because he has never competed in a YCS before. He says that this is a really big tournament, unlike any he has ever seen. He loves that it will bring him a very different experience than the one he enjoys at his local scene in Guadalajara.
