YCS Mexico City QQ: Which Deck Do You Think Took the Biggest Hit as a Result of the New Forbidden & Limited List?
QQ stands for Quick Questions! The new Forbidden & Limited List for the Advanced Format took a lot of power away from the top Decks in order to give other Decks the chance to compete and promote Deck diversity on the tournament scene. But some Decks were more heavily affected by the new Forbidden & Limited List than others. I surveyed the Duelists in attendance this weekend to see which Decks they think were hit the hardest by the new Forbidden & Limited List. Check out their responses!

It’s no surprise that players believe the four most popular Decks of the previous Advanced Format – Monarchs, Kozmos, Performapal Pendulums, and Burning Abyss Phantom Knights – were weakened the most by the newest Forbidden & Limited List. This will likely help to create a more diverse field of Decks in competitive tournaments. We’ve already seen tons of new contenders make it to the top tables in each Round this weekend. Will the trend continue? Follow the coverage to find out!
