Welcome to Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series Seattle, WA!

We’re here at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall, about to begin the first North American YCS of 2017! Though it’s cold and raining outside, we’ve got 850 fired up Duelists looking to start the year with a championship victory!

YCS Seattle will be the very first event with Raging Tempest legal for tournament play. Even though it’s only been a week, RATE has had a massive impact on the Dueling metagame. We’re already seeing a lot of Zoodiac and Infernoid Decks, while other strategies like Skull Servants are popping up as well.

This is also the first event after the announcement of the new World Qualifying Point program! With this program, all the high placing Duelists from Regional and YCS events build up points to qualify for the World Championship. Now that the Duelists know what’s at stake, the competition will be even more intense!

Round one is about to get underway! It’s time to Duel!
