YCS Atlanta: QQ – Giant Monster Edition

March 5th, 2017

QQ stands for Quick Questions! The Kaiju represent the classic giant monster genre that appears in Japanese film. Since Interrupted Kaiju Slumber and a variety of Kaiju are so popular lately, we asked our Duelists what their favorite Kaiju monsters are – either for their use in a Duel, their artwork, or any other reasons.

“DARK Kaiju [Radian, the Multidimensional Kaiju]. Stops Drident and if not needed I can Allure.” -James Ward, 25

“Gameciel, love water monsters” -Cody Highlan, 20

“The Thunder because I make Mechaba” -Reynaldo Contreras, 21

“Gameciel. Turtles are awesome.” Rick Butler, 24

“Dogoran because he is Godzilla!” -Sean Munn, 24

“Dogoran – Godzilla with wings” -Jonathan Moore, 27

“Gameciel because I love Mermails” -Julian Cebrian, 20

“Gameciel’s artwork is neat.” -Tai’rone Stutson, 23

Gardarla, the Mystery Dust Kaiju” -Aaron Hunter Levy, 22

“Radian. Best artwork.” -Jamael Moore, 36

“The big machine one because you can equip ABC cards to it.” -Alex Bergeron

Looks like there are a lot of favorites, but Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju is the most popular! It’s one of the most commonly used in Decks since it has the lowest ATK of all Kaiju (making it less dangerous to hand to your opponent), but Duelists seem to also Gameciel for a lot of other reasons.  Turtle power!
