Welcome to the South America World Championship Qualifier!

We’re here in Lima, Peru, where nearly 300 Duelists from around the continent are ready to duke it out for the chance of qualifying for the World Championship! This tournament is running concurrently with the North American WCQ, so you’re in for an action packed weekend of Dueling!

We just saw the release of Battles of Legend: Relentless Revenge yesterday, making this the first tournament to use the new cards. We could see the legendary Golden Castle of Stromberg in its gilded glory! There’s plenty of good stuff in BLRR, from new cards to popular reprints, so it should have an impact on the Dueling this weekend.

There’s more to this event than just the winner – there are World Qualifying Points to be had! The Latin American Duelist with the most points at the end of the season will also qualify for the World Championship, so this tournament will be what decides another World Championship attendee.

On top of all that, we also have the Dragon Duel WCQ! These young Duelists are also competing to head to their own World Championship exclusively for Duelists born in 2005 or later.
