Win-A-Mat tournaments are always popular Public Events in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series and World Championship Qualifiers. But this weekend they’re especially popular, because all Win-A-Mat tournaments are awarding a special EXCLUSIVE Game Mat featuring Joey Wheeler and Ishizu Ishtar! Check it out!

This Game Mat, exclusive for the 2019 North America WCQ, features two of the characters from the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series next to a monster card that each of them is best known for. Next to Joey on the Game Mat is the Red-Eyes B. Dragon, which became his signature card in the original series soon after he won it from Rex Raptor. Next to Ishizu is the Egyptian God Card – Obelisk the Tormentor! In the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series, Ishizu gives this all-powerful Egyptian God Card to Seto Kaiba before the Battle City Tournament begins. Although Obelisk the Tormentor is often associated with Seto Kaiba because of how often he Summons it in Battle City, it belonged to Ishizu first.

Wayne Grayson and Nell Balaban – the voice actors for Joey Wheeler and Ishizu Ishtar respectively – are both special guests at this weekend’s WCQ, making this exclusive Game Mat especially fitting for this weekend’s tournament. Duelists who win this special Game Mat will even have the opportunity to get it signed by both voice actors.
