While both of them are representing Mexico, only one can advance to the Finals!
Garcia won the roll and chose to go first.
Duel One:
Garcia started with Danger! Bigfoot, and when Vega hunted for it he found Eclipse Wyvern instead, so Danger! Bigfoot was Special Summoned and he drew a card. Eclipse Wyvern triggered and let him banish Chaos Dragon Levianeer from his Deck, then he activated Danger! Jackalope. Vega found Batteryman Solar, and Garcia Special Summoned the other Danger! and got to draw a card. He used both to Link Summon Beat Cop from the Underworld, then Special Summoned White Dragon Wyverburster and turned it into Guardragon Elpy. He Special Summoned Black Dragon Collapserpent next, banishing Eclipse Wyvern so he could add his Chaos Dragon Levianeer, then used that to summon Guardragon Pisty. He used the effect of his Guardragon to Special Summon Omni Dragon Brotaur, discarding Danger! Nessie, to add Chaos Emperor, the Dragon of Armageddon to his hand. He then used Danger! Nessie to add Danger! Tsuchinoko, and used the other Guardragon to bring back Eclipse Wyvern before Link Summoning Triple Burst Dragon and then Guardragon Agarpain. He used the effect of Eclipse Wyvern to banish Darkest Diabolos, Lord of the Lair from his Deck. He then banished Eclipse Wyvern for Chaos Dragon Levianeer, to add Darkest Diabolos, Lord of the Lair to his hand, and summon the mighty Dragon. He put Chaos Emperor, the Dragon of Armageddon in his Pendulum Zone and used it to add back Eclipse Wyvern, before Special Summoning Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss from his Extra Deck with Guardragon Agarpain. He followed all of that up with the Link Summon of Saryuja Skull Dread using all of his monsters but Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss, sculpting his hand before summoning Thunder Dragonroar with Saryuja Skull Dread. He tributed it to Summon Thunder Dragonhawk, then triggered Darkest Diabolos, Lord of the Lair to Special Summon it. Next Thunder Dragondark was Special Summoned before he grabbed Thunder Dragon from his Deck and ditched it to add two more copies. He Summoned Thunder Dragon Colossus next, tributing Thunder Dragonhawk, then triggered its effect to sculpt his hand some more. He banished three cards from his Graveyard for Chaos Dragon Levianeer, and then used its effect to put one of Vega’s cards back into the Deck leaving him with just three cards. He overlayed Darkest Diabolos, Lord of the Lair and Chaos Dragon Levianeer for Number 68: Sanaphond the Sky Prison, then banished two monstres from his Graveyard to Special Summon Chaos Emperor, the Dragon of Armageddon from his Extra Deck. He Special Summoned Thunder Dragonduo next, and overlayed it with Chaos Emperor, the Dragon of Armageddon for Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy before ending his turn!
Vega drew for turn and started with Sky Striker Mecha – Hornet Drones, but Garcia used Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy to stop it. He Normal Summoned Neo Space Connector next, using it to Special Summon Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin, then used both of those monsters to Link Summon Knightmare Cerberus. He activated its effect and Garcia responded with both Fantastical Dragon Phantazmay and the effect of Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss. Vega pushed onward and Link Summoned Knightmare Mermaid, then used its effect discarding the lost card in his hand, Phantom Knights’ Fog Blade, to Special Summon Orcust Knightmare from his Deck. He Link Summoned Galatea, the Orcust Automaton next, then used Orcust Knightmare to send Orcust Harp Horror from his Deck to the Graveyard, before banishing Orcust Harp Horror to Special Summon Orcust Cymbal Skeleton. He used the effect of Galatea, the Orcust Automaton next, Setting Orcustrated Babel and shuffling Orcust Knightmare back in his Deck. Next The Phantom Knights of Rusty Bardiche came down and ctivated its effect, sending The Phantom Knights of Ancient Cloak to the Graveyard so he could Set Phantom Knights’ Fog Blade. He banished Orcust Cymbal Skeleton to Special Summon Galatea, the Orcust Automaton, then overlayed Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star on top of it. He triggered The Phantom Knights of Rusty Bardiche to destroy Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss, while Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star sent Thunder Dragon Colossus to the Graveyard. Vega declared an attack with Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star on Fantastical Dragon Phantazmay, but Garcia used Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy to make sure his Fantastical Dragon Phantazmay wasn’t destroyed while Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star protected itself. He Special Summoned The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots next and used it along with Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star to Link Summon Galatea, the Orcust Automaton, then banished The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots to add The Phantom Knights of Shade Brigadine to his hand and Set it.
Garcia drew and Vega used Galatea, the Orcust Automaton, shuffling back Orcust Harp Horror, to Set Orcust Crescendo from his Deck. Garcia pressed on and Special Summoned White Dragon Wyverburster and then Thunder Dragondark, using both mosnters to Link Summon Knightmare Phoenix. He used its effect, discarding Danger! Nessie, to target the Set Phantom Knights’ Fog Blade. Vega responded with it, negating the effect of Knightmare Phoenix. Garcia added Danger! Mothman as well as Black Dragon Collapserpent to his hand thanks to Danger! Nessie and White Dragon Wyverburster respectively. He Special Summoned the Black Dragon Collapserpent next, then used it and Knightmare Phoenix to Link Summon Knightmare Unicorn. He discarded Danger! Tsuchinoko to return The Phantom Knights of Rusty Bardiche to the Extra Deck, and Vega conceded!
Garcia pulls off his full combo, tearing apart Vega! However, the Orcust player now has the option to go first, so will he be able to pull off his own combo unimpeded?
Vega chose to go first.
Duel Two:
Vega began with Sky Striker – Mobilize Engage!, using it to add Sky Striker Mecha – Hornet Drones to his hand. He activated it, Special Summoning Sky Striker Ace – Kagari, then used it to add back Sky Striker Mecha – Hornet Drones. He activated another Sky Striker – Mobilize Engage!, this time adding Sky Striker Mecha – Eagle Booster to his hand, then used his monsters to Link Summon Knightmare Phoenix which immediately turned into Knightmare Mermaid. Orcust Knightmare was Special Summoned next, thanks to Knightmare Mermaid, and Vega Normal Summoned Mathematician to send Orcust Harp Horror to his Graveyard. This prompted Garcia to use Artifact Lancea, preventing his opponent from banishing for the turn. Vega pressed on and Link Summoned Galatea, the Orcust Automaton, leaving himself with Mathematician, and Set a card before ending his turn. During the End Phase, Garcia used Thunder Dragondark to add another copy of it to its hand.
Garcia drew and began with Danger! Tsuchinoko, using its effect to discard Thunder Dragondark and draw a card. Next Danger! Nessie was activated, discarding Eclipse Wyvern to Special Summon itself and draw another card. Garcia thought for a moment and chose to banish Chaos Emperor, the Dragon of Armageddon from his Deck. He Special Summoned Thunder Dragonduo and got to add the Chaos Emperor, the Dragon of Armageddon and Thunder Dragonhawk to his hand now that the Eclipse Wyvern and Thunder Dragondark were banished. He put Chaos Emperor, the Dragon of Armageddon into the Pendulum Zone, and used it to Special Summon his Thunder Dragonduo. He Normal Summoned Denko Sekka next and discarded Thunder Dragonhawk to Special Summon Thunder Dragondark. He used everything but Thunder Dragonduo to activated Saryuja Skull Dread, sculpting his hand. He discarded Thunder Dragon next to add two more copies to his hand, then activated Danger! Jackalope and discarded one of a Thunder Dragon to summon it and draw a card. Vega Flipped his only Set card, Super Polymerization by discarding the last card in his hand, using his opponent’s monsters other than Saryuja Skull Dread to Fusion Summon Starving Venom Fusion Dragon. He Special Summoned White Dragon Wyverburster next, turning it into Guardragon Pisty, then added Black Dragon Collapserpent and used that to Special Summon Guardragon Elpy. He Special Summoned Omni Dragon Brotaur and used its effect, discarding Eclipse Wyvern, to add Chaos Dragon Levianeer to his hand. The Eclipse Wyvern banished a Chaos Dragon Levianeer, then Guardragon Agarpain came down and used its effect to Special Summon Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss. He Special Summoned Chaos Dragon Levianeer next, adding another Chaos Dragon Levianeer to his hand, and got rid of the opposing Mathematician and Galatea, the Orcust Automaton. He then used all of his monsters other than Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss to Link Summon Saryuja Skull Dread, which gave him more cards before he had to put some back. He Special Summoned Chaos Dragon Levianeer then used Danger! Bigfoot to discard the Thunder Dragon in his hand and Special Summon itself so he could draw a card. He Special Summoned Chaos Emperor, the Dragon of Armageddon next, then used his monsters other than Saryuja Skull Dread and Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss to Link Summon Knightmare Unicorn and spin back the opposing Starving Venom Fusion Dragon before declaring attacks with all of his monsters and ending the Duel!
