Carisse’s Deck takes control of a Duel – and an opponent’s monsters – with Sky Striker Mecha – Widow Anchor, and uses Sky Striker Mobilize – Engage! to get the cards he needs when he needs them. It’s pretty similar to the Sky Striker Decks that Duelists used in the previous Advanced Format, and essentially functions in the same way. Unfortunately for Carisse, it is a bit more vulnerable with Sky Striker Mecha Modules – Multirole now Limited, since Spell Cards are now tougher to retrieve from the Graveyard.
The Foolish Burial Goods and Metalfoes Fusion package help Carisse fill his Graveyard with Spell Cards so that he can quickly gain access to the secondary effects of his Sky Striker cards. The myriad of different Sky Striker Spell Cards in his Deck allow him to be ready for any situation.
Carisse’s Extra Deck is equally versatile, allowing for a variety of Link Summons, especially with monsters stolen by Sky Striker Mecha – Widow Anchor. He’s also playing a lone copy of Chimeratech Fortress Dragon in his Extra Deck, to use against hapless Cyber Dragon Duelists that leave a Cyber Dragon on the field with 1 or more other Machines.
Expect Sky Striker Decks similar to Carisse’s Deck to be a top contender in the new Advanced Format!
