After two days of Dragon Duels, the winner from Saturday, Jose Santiago Blanco Godina will take on Sunday’s winner, Hector Raul Hernandez Anaya for the title of Dragon Duel Champion of YCS Guadalajara! The winner will walk away with YCS Championship Trophy and Super Rare versions of the Darklord YCS Prize Cards, Darklord Asmodeus, Darklord Edeh Arae and Darklord Superbia. Who will take home the title?  It’s time to Duel!

Duel 1

Blanco Godina won the roll and elected to go first. He Normal Summoned Resonance Insect then activated Battlewasp – Pin the Bullseye to Special Summon it from his hand. He then activated Danger! Nessie!. Hernandez Anaya hit Danger!? Jackelope?, Danger! Nessie! hit the field and Blanco Godina drew a card. Danger!? Jackelope?’s effect Special Summoned Danger! Mothman!. Pin the Bullseye and Resonance Insect turned into Inzector Picofalena! Resonsance Insect’s Graveyard effect added Doom Dozer from his Deck to his hand while Inzector Picofalena’s effect let Blanco Godina discard, discarding Gokipole to equip another Resonance Insect form the Deck to Danger! Mothman!. Blanco Godina used Gokipole’s effect to Special Summon Insect Knight from the Deck. He banished two insects to Special Summon Doom Dozer! Insect Knight and Danger! Mothman! were sent to the Graveyard to Link Summon Knightmare Phoenix. Resonance Insect’s fell off of Danger! Mothman! and its Graveyard effect let Blanco Godina add another Doom Dozer from his Deck to his hand. Blanco Godina banished another two Insects to Special Summon the second Doom Dozer! He stacked the two big insects to Xyz Summon Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy! Knightmare Phoenix went away for Knightmare Mermaid , Blanco Godina discarded Danger! Nessie! to Special Summon Orcust Knightmare from the Deck. Those two went away for Galatea, the Orcust Automaton. The standard Orcust combo starts here (with a very innovative beginning!) and ends with this field.

Hernandez Anaya activated Prank-Kids Pandemonium but Blanco Godina negated it with Orcust Crescendo!  Hernandez Anaya had a second one but Blanco Godina negated it with Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy’s effect! Hernandez Anaya Set a monster and passed.

Blanco Godina activated Orcust Cymbal Skeleton’s effect to Special Summon Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star form the Graveyard. its effect sent Hernandez Anaya’s Set Prank-Kids Dropsies to the Graveyard and Blanco Godina’s monsters attacked to end the first Duel! A powerful opening turn for Blanco Godina leaves him one win away from a Dragon Duel Championship!

Duel 2

Hernandez Anaya elected to go first. He started off with Instant Fusion, paying 1000 LP to Special Summon Prank-Kids Rocket Ride! He Normal Summoned Prank-Kids Lampsies. Hernandez Anaya used both monsters to Link Summon Prank-Kids Dodo-Doodle-Doo. He used the Link Monster’s effect to add Prank-Kids Pandemonium from his Deck to his hand while Lampsies burned Blanco Godina for 500 and let Hernandez Anaya Special Summon Prank-Kids Dropsies from his Deck. The two monsters were sent to the Graveyard to Link Summon Prank-Kids Bow-Wow Bark. Dropsies’s effect let Hernandez Anaya gain 1000 LP and Special Summon Prank-Kids Fansies from the Deck. He then activated Prank-Kids Pandemonium, using the two monsters on the Field to Fusion Summon another Rocket Ride. Fansies’s Graveyard effect let Hernandez Anaya send Prank-Kids Place from his Deck to the Graveyard and he Special Summon Prank-Kids Rocksies from the Deck. Rocket Ride’s effect was next, it went to the Graveyard to Special Summon Bow-Wow-Bark and Dodo-Doodle-Doo from the Graveyard. He then used Doodle-Doo’s effect to add the Prank-Kids Place and the Prank-Kids Pandemonium in his Graveyard back to his hand. He activated Prank-Kids Place and added Lampsies from his Deck to his hand. He then activated Prank-Kids Pranks. He sent Lampsies to the Graveyard to Summon a Prank-Kids Token. The Token and Lampsies went to the Graveyard to Link Summon another Bow-Wow-Bark. Rocksies’s Graveyard effect let him banish Polymerization from his hand, draw a card and Special Summon Dropsies from his Deck. He Set a card to the back and passed.

Blanco Godina activated Gold Sarcophagus, banishing Resonance Insect. Its effect activated, letting Blanco Godina send Gokipole from his Deck to the Graveyard. Gokipole’s Graveyard effect let Blanco Godina Special Summon Insect Knight from the Deck. Hernandez Anaya used the effect of Bow-Wow-Bark to add back add back Lampsies and Rocksies. Blanco Godina Normal Summoned Orcust Harp Horror and he sent it and Insect Knight to the Graveyard  to Link Summon Galatea, the Orcust Automaton. Orcust Harp Horror’s effect brought out Orcust Cymbal Skeleton. Both monsters turned into Longirsu, the Orcust Orchestrator. Orcust Cymbal Skeleton’s effect brought back Galatea, the Orcust Automaton. Galatea, the Orcust Automaton’s effect shuffled Orcust Harp Horror back to the Deck to Set Orcustrated Babel which was activated. Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star went on top of Galatea, the Orcust Automaton. Its effect sent Hernandez Anaya’s other Bow-Wow-Bark to the Graveyard. He Set a card and Longirsu attacked over Hernandez Anaya’s last Prank-Kids monster. Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star attacked directly.

Hernandez Anaya activated his Set Prank-Kids Pandemonium and Blanco Godina Chained Orcust Crescendo to negate and banish it. Prank-Kids Pranks effect let Hernandez Anaya discard another copy of Prank-Kids Pranks to Special Summon a Prank-Kids Token. He Normal Summoned Lampsies then Link Summoned Dodo-Doodle-Doo. Its effects and Lampsies’s effect went on a chain, another Prank-Kids Pandemonium was added from Hernandez Anaya’s Deck to his hand and Dropsies was Special Summoned from the Deck. Dropsies and Doodle-Doo went to the Graveyard to Link Summon Bow-Wow-Bark. Another effect let Hernandez Anaya add Lampsies from his Deck to his hand. He activated Prank-Kids Pandemonium, using three Prank-Kids from his hand to Fusion Summon Prank-Kids Battle Butler! He sent Prank-Kids Plan from the Deck to the Graveyard and Special Summoned Rocksies from the Deck. Bow-Wow-Bark attacked over Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star and its effect prevented it s own destruction. The Fusion Monster attacked over Longirsu, the Orcust Orchestrator.

Blanco Godina drew Danger! Nessie!. He Normal Summoned Gokipole. He sent it to the Graveyard to Link Summon Salamangreat Almiraj. Gokipole’s Graveyard effect added Danger! Mothman! from Blanco Godina’s Deck to his hand. He used its effect and Hernandez Anaya hit it. Both players drew and discarded a card. Blanco Godina then activated Danger! Nessie!. Hernandez Anaya hit Orcust Knightmare. Danger! Nessie! hit the field and Hernandez Anaya drew Dinowrestler Pankratops. Orcust Knightmare’s effect banished itself from the Graveyard to send Orcust Harp Horror from his Deck to the Graveyard. Orcust Harp Horror was next, banishing it from the Graveyard to Special Summon Orcust Knightmare from the Graveyard. World Legacy – “World Wand”’s effect banished it from the Graveyard to Special Summon the banished Orcust Cymbal Skeleton. Hernandez Anaya use the Battle Butler’s effect, Tributing it to destroy all cards Blanco Godina controlled! Hernandez Anaya used Orcust Cymbal Skeleton’s effect to Special Summon Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star. Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star attacked over Bow-Wow-Bark. Blanco Godina Set Twin Twisters and passed.

In Hernandez Anaya’s turn, Blanco Godina activated the effect of Orcust Knightmare, banishing it to send Orcust Harp Horror from the Deck to the Graveyard. Hernandez Anaya Set a monster and passed.

Blanco Godina drew Orcust Crescendo. Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star attacked over Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring.

Hernandez Anaya discarded Dark Ruler No More for Prank-Kids Pranks to Special Summon a Prank-Kids Token. He Normal Summoned Fansies and used them to Link Summon Dodo-Doodle-Doo. He used an effect to add Prank-Kids Pandemonium from his Deck to his hand. Blanco Godina activated Twin Twisters to destroy Prank-Kids Pranks and Prank-Kids Place.

Blanco Godina Normal Summoned Orcust Harp Horror and attacked with both monsters, clearing Hernandez Anaya’s Dodo-Doodle Doo.

Hernandez Anaya Set a back row and passed.

Blanco Godina Special Summoned Doom Dozer and attacked with all of his monsters to end the match!
