New Public Events at YCS Charlotte
There are a ton of ways to enjoy Dueling outside of the Main Event at a YCS. Public Events have all kinds of sweet prizes, and sometimes there are some unique ways to Duel! Here are the new events at YCS Charlotte.
Master Duel Tournament
First up is an event for the newest Yu-Gi-Oh! video game, Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL! This free-to-play game uses a different card pool and Forbidden & Limited List from the TCG, with a built-in card crafting system! For this Public Event, the Duelists will play a best-of-three Match. They also have the option of using their entire collection as a Side Deck between games, so they can modify their Deck or change it completely if they like.
Rivalry of Warlords Tournament
In this event, Duelists will check out a constructed Deck from the TO, which will fit into a variety of themes. The Decks are randomly assigned and will have only cards from a select card pool.
Speed Duel ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!!
The prize here is a GIANT card like what we’ve all come to know and love, but this time it’s a Speed Duel tournament! There’s one of these events each day of the YCS.
Charity Tournament
Charity Tournaments aren’t new, but we’ll mention it here anyway, because it’s for a good cause. Proceeds for this event go to UNICEF.
