Duelists can try out the newest Yu-Gi-Oh! digital games at YCS Charlotte! We’ve got setups to try both Yu-Gi-Oh! RUSH DUEL: Dawn of the Battle Royale!! and Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL, where you can try Solo mode or play against other Duelists.

Yu-Gi-Oh! RUSH DUEL: Dawn of the Battle Royale!!

Rush Duels are a new way to Duel, but it’s based on the same general mechanics that you already know.

In Rush Duels, you have an unlimited number of Summons! In addition, you’ll always draw up to five cards at the start of your turn! This means both players get to constantly throw down as many cards as they can or want, then replace them next turn for even more plays. Battle takes a major role in these Duels, and you’ll see the momentum of a Rush Duel shifting every turn.

There are also a lot of new cards exclusive to Rush Duels, like the powerful Multistrike Dragon Dragias!

Like many Yu-Gi-Oh! games, Dawn of the Battle Royale features a ton of characters from Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens, where Rush Duels debuted. You’ll meet them in the campaign mode of the game, which features an original story!

Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL

The other game on display is Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL. This game features the same Dueling gameplay you’re used to. There’s a solo mode that gives you some of the stories of the cards such as Monarchs, Dinomists, or World Chalice, to name a few.

There’s also a crafting system, where a Duelist can swap out cards for crafting points, then use those points to make new cards. It’s a great way to obtain what would otherwise be a rare card.

MASTER DUEL is a free-to-play game, but the demo stations have a few pre-built Decks so Duelists can jump right into the action. It features a fan-favorite Dark Magician Deck, a popular MASTER DUEL Dragonmaid Deck, and 60-Card Chaos Deck to showcase a Deck that isn’t available in the TCG due to the inclusion of That Grass Looks Greener.
