Welcome home, Duelists.
Two years ago, we had no idea that YCS Las Vegas would be our final in-person YCS for a long time. As Duelists adapted to the changing world, we’ve worked to make Remote Duel YCS events as awesome as they could be. We’ve had some amazing tournaments in that time, but now… we’re back! The first in-person YCS in years is right here in Charlotte, and it’s already shaping up to be a great event!
It almost feels unreal, being here in the event hall with over 1,000 registered Duelists. And despite us taking extra steps for safety, including requiring vaccination records and masks to be worn at all times, the Duelists are jumping back in as if no time had passed at all. From veterans to YCS first-timers, everyone is excited to be back!
Today will be nine rounds of Swiss, followed by two additional rounds tomorrow, then a cut to Top 32. Round 1 is about to begin – it’s time, once again, to Duel!
