Finally! It’s time!

This year, Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME Championships are being held in territories all across the world. Each event crowns two winners: an undisputed Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Champion and a Dragon Duel Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Champion for each unique territory. 

Duelists vying for the title of Champion fought for the honor of competing in these prestigious tournaments: Duelists began earning their invites in August 2019, almost three years ago! Now, thousands of competitors across the globe are cashing in, ready to take their shot at Dueling immortality.

The Central America Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Championship was played first, in Mexico City on June 19. And in the all-ages main event we saw Alain Munoz Godinez claim victory with his Floowandereeze Deck, our first new Champion of the season. From there, one week later in Santiago, Duelist Hernan Bravo took home title gold with Eldlich the Golden Lord. Backed by Branded, another Champion’s name was etched into the history books.

Now, today, some of the world’s most accomplished Duelists have gathered at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center just outside of Chicago, for the 2022 North America Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Championship.

Star Duelists and up-and-coming competitors alike are all here, ready to face the biggest challenge, and the biggest tournament, of the year so far! The best of the best from Canada and the United States have all assembled, and while the wait’s been long for some, the day has finally arrived.  Tensions are high, glory is here for the taking, and the rewards are richer than ever! Prizes and pride are both at stake, and for 1,840 competitors, we can finally say…
