We’re here at the Greater Richmond Convention Center in Richmond, Virginia, where 1,441 Duelists have gathered to vie for the title YCS Champion!

We’re coming in hot of multiple YCS tournaments last month! Just two weeks ago, Steven Santoli took the title at YCS Indianapolis with his Sinful Spoils Rescue-ACE Deck. Many Duelists saw Rescue-ACE as the new Deck to beat, but just last week Michel Verissimo took down YCS Santa Cruz with Mikanko! Duelists have now had two weeks to try out the new cards from Age of Overlord. So while powerful new strategies have been found, competitors are still experimenting and discovering new options.

The tournament floor is buzzing, players are seated, and Round 1 is about to kick off! We have 9 Swiss Rounds today, with 2 more slated for Sunday morning before a cut to the Top 32. Only the most determined, most disciplined, and most innovative competitors will make it to Day 2, so competition we’re expecting some fierce competition!
