Ryan Levine

Duel 1

Wilkinson began with Branded Fusion, and Levine had the Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring to shut it down. Wilkinson continued with One for One, discarding Sauravis, Dragon Sage of the Voiceless Voice to Special Summon Lo, the Prayers of the Voiceless Voice. Levine hit Lo with Infinite Impermanence to negate it. Wilkinson used Saffira, Dragon Queen of the Voiceless Voice, sending Prayers of the Voiceless Voice to the Graveyard and adding Skull Guardian, Protector of the Voiceless Voice to his hand. Levine used Droll & Lock Bird. Lo’s entire effect was negated, so it couldn’t be used for a full Ritual Summon either. Wilkinson had to pass.

Levine had Legendary Fire King Ponix, One for One, and drew Effect Veiler for his turn. He discarded Veiler for One for One to Special Summon Snake-Eye Ash, which searched for Snake-Eyes Poplar. He Special Summoned Poplar, which searched for Original Sinful Spoils – Snake-Eye. He used Poplar to Link Summon Linkuriboh. Poplar’s effect in the Graveyard placed Poplar in the back row as a Continuous Spell. He Normal Summoned Ponix next, searching for Fire King Sanctuary. He used that to put Fire King Island on the field. Island then destroyed Ponix to add Sacred Fire King Garunix to his hand. Garunix saw that Ponix was destroyed, and Levine Special Summoned Garunix. Garunix destroyed Kirin in the deck, and Kirin revived Ponix while destroying Lo. Levine used Snake-Eye Ash, sending itself and Poplar to the Graveyard to Special Summon Snake-Eyes Flamberge Dragon from his deck. He used Ponix and Linkuriboh to Link Summon Hiita. He attacked with everything for 8750 damage, ending the Duel on the first turn!

The Duelists moved to their Side Decks, and Levine consulted heavily with his teammate Couch, trying to get the most of his advantageous position.

Duel 2

Wilkinson began this Duel with One for One again, discarding Trias Hierarchia. He Special Summoned Lo, and used its effect to place Barrier of the Voiceless Voice on the field. He used Barrier to search for Saffira, Dragon Queen of the Voiceless Voice. He tried using Saffira’s effect, and Levine had Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion to negate it! Wilkinson spoke to his team mate before using Monster Reborn to revive Trias Hierarchia. He Synchro Summoned Chaos Angel! He Set one back row card.

Zackary Wilkinson

Levine had Triple Tactics Talent, Kirin, WANTED: Seeker of Sinful Spoils, and Infinite Impermanence. He drew another WANTED, and moved to his Main Phase. He activated a WANTED. Wilkinson had Ash Blossom to negate it, which is probably what Levine expected. That allowed him to use Triple Tactics Talent to draw Bystial Magnamhut and Droll & Lock Bird. He Set a WANTED, and Set Infinite Impermanence in the column with Wilkinson’s Barrier.

Wilkinson used Barrier to search, and Levine flipped Infinite Impermanence targeting Chaos Angel. Wilkinson responded with Sauravis, the Ancient and Ascended from his hand, negating Impermanence. Barrier resolved, adding a new Saffira to his hand. Levine used Droll & Lock Bird, then Chained WANTED to get a search while he could. Levine added Diabellstar the Black Witch to his hand. Wilkinson flipped Radiance of the Voiceless Voice, trying to shuffle his Sauravis from his Graveyard back into the deck. Levine responded with Magnamhut from his hand, banishing Sauravis, and Special Summoned the Dragon in Defense Position. Chaos Angel destroyed Magnamhut in battle.

Levine drew another Droll & Lock Bird. He Special Summoned Diabellstar, using Droll for the cost. Diabellstar put Original Sinful Spoils – Snake-Eye on the field, and he activated it. He send Diabellstar for the cost to Special Summon Snake-Eye Ash, which added Legendary Fire King Ponix to his hand. He Normal Summoned Ponix to get Sanctuary, which then got Island. He used Island to destroy Ponix and add Garunix to his hand. He Special Summoned Garunix, which destroyed Kirin from his deck. Kirin Special Summoned Ponix and destroyed Barrier. He used Ash’s effect, sending Sanctuary for the cost, to Special Summon Flamberge Dragon from his deck. He used WANTED’s Graveyard effect to put Original Sinful Spoils on the bottom of his deck and draw Ghost Belle. He used Ponix and Flamberge to Link Summon Hiita, and Flamberge revived his Level 1 monsters. Hiita Special Summoned Ash Blossom from Wilkinson’s Graveyard. He used Ash Blossom and Hiita to Link Summon Promethean Princess, Bestower of Flames! Princess Special Summoned Flamberge Dragon. Levine used Ponix and Snake-Eye Ash to Link Summon Knightmare Phoenix, discarding Kirin to destroy Radiance. It was co-linked with Princess, so he also drew Ash Blossom. He attacked Chaos Angel with Garunix, and sent everything else to drop Wilkinson to just 200 Life Points! He used Phoenix and Princess to Link Summon Amphibious Swarmship Amblowhale, and passed the turn. Wilkinson had the Saffira he’d added to his hand last turn, but no other cards.

Wilkinson drew his card and tried activating Saffira, and Levine had Ghost Belle. Wilkinson tried to draw two cards with Triple Tactics Talent, and Levine had Ash Blossom. Wilkinson offered the handshake!

Ryan Levine takes the Match, helping Team Three P(Eat) to claim victory!
