Round 7 Top Tables Update
We have just two Rounds left in Day 1 here at YCS Niagara Falls. The competition is fierce and it is time to see what types of Decks are staying strong out in the field.
Out of the Top 10 Tables, there are 11 Duelists using Snake-Eye variants! Half of the leading end of the competition is running some sort of Snake-Eye Deck. Some of the variants are running Fiendsmith cards, others are running the Fire King engine, and most of them are also playing the Azamina cards from Rage of the Abyss. One of the Azamina Snake-Eye Decks is also playing Rescue-ACE cards to add to the wide variety of plays it Deck can dish out.
There are still four Tenpai Decks in the competition: even with Sangen Summoning being on the Limited List, there are plenty of ways for the Deck to summon a series of Synchro Monsters. Speaking of Synchros, there are still two Centur-Ion Bystial Decks rocking the Top Tables. Unlike Tenpai with Level 7 and 10 Synchros, Centur-Ion Bystial aims to Synchro Summon Level 12 monsters like crazy.
There are still two followers of Yubel staying strong in the tournament. Finally, a pure Fire King and a Mimighoul Deck round out the Top 20 Decks that we have doing well here at YCS Niagara Falls.
Fire King has been seeing a ton of success with Fire King Courtier Ulcanix and there are so many new Mimighoul monsters it makes sense that Duelists are getting lost in the dungeon. After this, there’s just one more round in Day 1 and then we’ll see what makes it to Day 2 here at YCS Niagara Falls!
