Mario De Micco from Montreal, Canada and Rehan Saeed from Toronto, Canada are in the Finals! Both of them are accomplished Duelists with several YCS Top Cut finishes, but for both of these Duelists, it’s the first time they’re in the Finals. Now, one of them will win the title, the trophy, the Ultra Rare Anotherverse Solaria, and the variety of other prizes that come with a first place finish. The stakes are high, and both of these Duelists want the win. De Micco is counting on his Tenpai Dragon Deck, while Saeed placed his trust in the Fiendsmith Yubel strategy. It’s time to Duel!

Duel One

De Micco won the die roll and chose to go second.

Saeed started off the Match by Normal Summoning Samsara D Lotus. De Micco activated the effect of Mulcharmy Fuwalos from his hand while it was still on the field. Saeed Tributed his Samsara D Lotus to activate its effect, but De Micco Chained Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring to negate it. Saeed ended his turn with no cards on his field.

De Micco Special Summoned Bystial Magnamhut from his hand with its effect by banishing the Lotus from Saeed’s Graveyard. Next, he Normal Summoned Tenpai Dragon Paidra. He activated Paidra’s effect, but lost out to Effect Veiler. He Special Summoned Tenpai Dragon Chundra from his hand next. He entered his Battle Phase and then attacked with Tenpai Dragon Chundra. He activated Chundra’s effect to Special Summon Tenpai Dragon Fadra from his Deck and the Saeed took 1500 points of damage. Magnamhut attacked directly next, dropping Saeed down to 4000 Life Points. Next, De Micco used his Chundra’s effect to Tune it with Magnamhut and Synchro Summon Sangenpai Transcendent Dragion. Saeed conceded, realizing he was defeated.

De Micco takes a lightning quick victory in Duel 1 and is now just a short win away from becoming a YCS Champion!

Duel Two

Saeed chose to go first in Duel 2 and started it off by Normal Summoning Dark Beckoning Beast. He activated its effect, but lost out to De Micco’s Infinite Impermanence. Saeed passed his turn with only the Dark Beckoning Beast on his field!

De Micco Normal Summoned Dora Dora and used its effect to add Tenpai Dragon Chundra from his Deck to his hand. He Special Summoned Chundra from his hand with its effect and then entered his Battle Phase. He attacked Dark Beckoning Beast with Chundra and then used Chundra’s effect to Special Summon Tenpai Dragon Paidra from his Deck. He used Paidra’s effect to add Sangen Summoning from his deck to his hand and inflicted 1500 points of damage to Saeed’s Life Points. Next, he used Chundra’s effect to Tune it with Dora Dora and Paidra and Synchro Summon Sangenpai Transcendent Dragion. He attacked directly with it, then activated Sangen Kaimen. He added Tenpai Dragon Fadra from his Deck to his hand and Special Summoned it. He used Fadra’s effect to Special Summon Chundra from his Graveyard and then attacked directly with both Chundra and Fadra. He used Chundra’s effect to Tune Chundra and Fadra together and Summon Sangenpai Bident Dragion and then used the Bident Dragion’s effect to Special Summon Fadra. A few attacks later, Saeed was knocked out of the Duel!
