Duel 1
Martin won the dice roll and played first. He played Terraforming, adding Pressured Planet Wraitsoth to his hand. He played that to get Kashtira Unicorn, and he Special Summoned it. It added Kashtira Birth to his hand. He Set one back row card, then Normal Summoned Maliss <P> Dormouse. Dormouse banished Maliss <P> White Rabbit from the Deck, and he Special Summoned that too. White Rabbit’s effect Set Maliss <C> TB-11 on the field. Aviles activated the effect of Mulcharmy Fuwalos, and Martin negated it with Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring. Martin used his monsters to Link Summon Maliss <Q> Red Ransom, adding Maliss in Underground to his hand. He flipped TB-11 by banishing Red Ransom, and Special Summoned Maliss <P> Chessy Cat. Then he returned Red Ransom to the field. He played Underground to banish Dormouse from his Deck, and Special Summoned it. He used Dormouse to Link Summon Link Decoder, then used all his monsters to Link Summon Maliss <Q> Hearts Crypter, and Link Decoder returned to play. He used both monsters to Link Summon Splash Mage, which Special Summoned Dormouse with its effect. Then he Link Summoned Maliss <Q> White Binder, which banished Hearts Crypter, Chessy Cat, and TB-11. He Special Summoned Chessy Cat and Hearts Crypter.
And then Aviles activated the effect of Nibiru, the Primal Being! Martin lost his monsters, receiving a 6300/300 Primal Being Token in Defense Position. He played a new copy of Underground, banishing White Binder from the Graveyard. He brought White Binder back to the field and drew a card. Then he used White Binder’s effect to Set Maliss <C> GWC-06. He used the Primal Being Token to Link Summon Link Spider, then that and White Binder to Link Summon Accesscode Talker. It gained 3000 ATK with its effect, and he banished Splash Mage to destroy Aviles’s Nibiru. Martin Set one more card to finish the turn.
Aviles had a hand of Node Ryzeal, Bonfire, and Ryzeal Plugin. He drew another Bonfire and activated it, adding Ext Ryzeal to his hand. He Special Summoned it by sending Mereologic Aggregator to the Graveyard. Aggregator’s effect negated Accesscode’s effect, and Ext put Sword Ryzeal in his hand. He Special Summoned Sword and added Ice Ryzeal to his hand. Martin flipped GWC-06 to revive White Binder. It banished White Rabbit and Hearts Crypter from his Graveyard, and Aggregator from Aviles’s. Martin Special Summoned both Maliss cards, and White Rabbit put Maliss <C> MTP-07 on the field. He flipped MTP-07, banishing White Rabbit to add Dormouse to his hand and banish Aviles’s Ext Ryzeal. Aviles played Ryzeal Plugin to Special Summon that banished Ext. Martin used Hearts Crypter to shuffle his banished White Rabbit into the Deck and banish Ext once more. Aviles Special Summoned Node Ryzeal, stacking it with Sword for Evilswarm Exciton Knight! He activated its effect immediately, destroying all of Martin’s cards! Martin revealed his other Set cards were Kashtira Birth and Gold Sarcophagus. Aviles Normal Summoned Ice and activated its effect, and Martin Chained the effect of Mulcharmy Fuwalos! Ice brought a Sword to the field. He Xyz Summoned Number 41: Bagooska the Terribly Tired Tapir in Defense Position and passed the turn.
Martin played Book of Eclipse! He Special Summoned Kashtira Fenrir and added Kashtira Unicorn to his hand with its effect. He Normal Summoned Dormouse and it banished White Rabbit from his Deck. He did not use White Rabbit’s effect, since he had nothing left to get with it. Fenrir attacked and flipped up Bagooska, which reactivated its ability and turned everything to Defense Position! Martin moved to Main Phase 2, using Dormouse to Link Summon Linguriboh, then that and White Rabbit to Link Summon S:P Little Knight. He used it to banish White Binder from his Graveyard, and White Binder returned to the field. It banished Node, Hearts Crypter, and Chessy Cat, with the Maliss monsters returning to the field. All these Life Points payments left Martin with just 800 Life Points! White Binder Set GWC-06 on the field. Hearts Crypter then banished the face-down Exciton Knight. Chessy and Fenrir were used to Link Summon I:P Masquerena.
Aviles drew Sword Ryzeal, then detached an Xyz Material from Bagooska. He played Bonfire to get Ext Ryzeal. He switched Bagooska to Attack Position, then Special Summoned Ext by sending Mereologic Aggregator to the Graveyard. Ext activated as Chain Link 1, and Aggregator as Chain Link 2 targeting I:P Masquerena. Martin Chained S:P Little Knight’s effect to banish itself and Ext, then at Chain Link 4 activated the effect of I:P Masquerena, and finally at Chain Link 5 activated GWC-06! He revived Red Ransom and gained some precious Life Points, then used Masquerena, Hearts Crypter, and White Binder to Link Summon Firewall Dragon Darkfluid – Neo Tempest Terahertz! Little Knight and Ext were temporarily banished. Red Ransom put Underground in his hand. Aviles Special Summoned his Sword Ryzeal, adding Ice Ryzeal to his hand. He Normal Summoned Ice to Special Summon Ext from his Deck. He used Ext and Sword to Link Summon Number 60: Dugares the Timeless. Terahertz sent Enigmaster Packbit to the Graveyard. Martin used Packbit’s effect, discarding Unicorn to send Dugares to the back row before it could activate an effect.
Martin used Terahertz to send Cyberse Desavewurm to the Graveyard. He moved to the Battle Phase and Terahertz wiped out Aviles’s Life Points!
Duel 2
Aviles played first, with a hand of two Crossout Designator, Artifact Lancea, Sword Ryzeal, and Ext Ryzeal. Martin activated the effect of Mulcharmy Fuwalos, and Aviles Chained Crossout Designator to negate it. He Special Summoned Ext by sending a Ryzeal Detonator to the Graveyard, and added Sword Ryzeal to his hand. He Special Summoned Sword, getting Ice Ryzeal. He Xyz Summoned Ryzeal Duo Drive and attached Detonator to it. He tried using Duo Drive’s effect, and Martin had Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring to negate it. Aviles Normal Summoned Ice, using it to Special Summon Node Ryzeal. He Xyz Summoned Ryzeal Detonator, but had nothing to attach to it. He Set Crossout Designator.
Martin used Infinite Impermanence on Detonator, and Aviles flipped Crossout Designator to protect his monster from its effect! Martin Set a back row card, then Normal Summoned Dormouse. He activated its effect, and Aviles Chained Detonator’s effect targeting Dormouse, then also Chained Artifact Lancea. Martin Chained his Set Maliss <C> TB-11 to banish Dormouse and Special Summon Maliss <P> Chessy Cat. In a new Chain he activated the banished Dormouse’s effect, and Detonator Chained its effect to destroy Chessy Cat. Dormouse hit the field, but Martin had just one card left. He had no way to keep going with Lancea’s effect active, and conceded!
Duel 3
Martin started the final Duel with Terraforming to find Pressured Planet Wraitsoth. He activated it, prompting Aviles to use Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring. Martin Normal Summoned Dormouse, and Aviles responded with Lancea! Martin played Triple Tactics Thrust to Set Dimensional Barrier! He Set a second card.
Aviles had another Ash Blossom, Sword, Lancea, and Ext. He drew Pot of Desires, and banished 10 cards to activate it. Martin had Ash Blossom to negate it. Aviles Special Summoned Ext by sending Mereologic Aggregator to the Graveyard. Ext activated its effect as Chain Link 1, and Aggregator activated its effect as Chain Link 2 to negate the effects of Dormouse. Martin Chained Forbidden Chalice to negate the effect of Ext. Aviles Special Summoned Sword and added Ice to his hand, and Martin flipped Dimensional Barrier to block Xyz Monsters for the turn. Sword attacked Dormouse to finish the turn.
Martin Set a card in his back row.
Aviles drew Effect Veiler. He stacked his monsters for Tornado Dragon to destroy Martin’s TB-11. Martin Chained it, but Aviles used Ash Blossom. He Normal Summoned Ice to Special Summon Sword, and Sword put a new Ice in the hand. He stacked Sword and Ice for Ryzeal Detonator, attaching Aggregator. He attacked with both of his monsters to drop Martin to 2600 Life Points.
Martin Set another back row card, but it was no help! Aviles attacked to wipe out the last of Martin’s Life Points!
